  2. they do but it takes ages for the pigeons to deliver the posts to all 3 members
  3. yeah it was passed over the radios to the stewards, i was listening in and apparently the club were moving search and eject stewards into positions so they could get "more eyes" on the huds fans, but it slso said that the most of the huds fans were lobbing coins towards the north stand, whether at the linesman or the owls fans i dont know, but the lines man handed in coins that he had picked up from the area.
  4. agree all the idiots congregate at the away ends of the north and south...more so the north, im sure it the same at clubs up and down the country....though in answer to ops origional post the first ones to throw coins were the hudderfield fans after thier player got sent off, im not condoning any of it but it shows both sets of fans were not at all happy with the officials that night and our collective set of idiots took action
  5. yeah then they turn up all remaining matches after switching to another stand, this is true as i was working at united at the time and got talking to some aquaintences of the offender who gleefully told me that the person who did it was happily sat over in the other stand watching the match.
  6. im on the 60MB speed line and have done loads of speed tests, the line does give you upto 60MB, in fact i've had around 63MB somtimes but other times it drops to late 20's early 30's when demand is high, but to tell you the truth you wont notice any difference what so ever, i dont watch movies on it but there is regulary me on my pc my son on his laptop my other son on his pc plus my wifes ipad and various phones all using the connection at once without a problem.
  7. contact your phone company and ask to change your number, they will do it free if you tell them your getting nuisence calls at all hours, then request it to be ex directory and then register the new number with the tps (telephone preference service) just incase the new number starts to get the usual PPI and injury claim calls, then sit back and breathe easy. These operators that call you are on a hefty bonus for everyone they get to pay up over the phone, i bet they offered to reduce the amount if you paid over the phone there and then, its because they know your number and can hassle you in person, change your number and forget about it.
  8. dont make any contact with the comapny what so ever, bin the the invoice and all following reminders and threats, after about a year they will give up parking ticket from council - pay parking ticket from police - pay parking INVOICE from ANYONE else - bin/ignore
  9. isnt there a fish and chip restaurant across the road from the hallamshire hospital?
  10. really? both i and my neighbour each side of me work, we all pay our bills, the owners behind us work full time and in front of us own his own business, So i think there is a lot stereotyping going on here
  11. stop polishing your jack boots and take your blinkers off mate, like ive said before every estate has its bad element, the council doesnt care where it sticks them, 15 years ago when i first moved to gleadless vally the waiting time was 20 years and was a very sought after area, then the council started demolishing the popular and run down areas and giving people with demolition priority the years to jump to the top of the housing list and a lot of them chose the valley to relocate to. anyway i digress, moorland road is a decent place to live, i would take it with both hands.
  12. dont listen to the usual view that most people put when gleadless valley is mentioned, moorlands is actually situated on Herdings....i live just around the corner from moorlands and have for the last 3 years, i can say we have had no trouble what so ever since moving here the neighbours are top class, i used to live over at the blackstock road end (near the co-op) and we had bad trouble with one of our neighbours there(constant shouting, screaming, animal cruelty and drug offences). if you've been offered a house on moorland road, i personally would take it, theres idiots and scumbags on EVERY sheffield housing estate, ive not met any on this one yet.
  13. i have no ads at all on ebay since installing that program, i didnt even notice they were targeted untill my wife purchased a wheelchair and within minutes adverts for wheelchairs and electric scooters were all over the page, anywaqy i think i may have solved the problem for the op in my above post....fingers crossed
  14. ok log into your ebay, once logged in goto my ebay page then click on the account tab just under where it says my ebay, then click on site preferences which brings a list of options up, scroll down the list untill you see Advertising preferences and click Edit/show on the right side of the page once this opens up you'll see a small ticked box which basically says allow your searches and preferences to passed onto third party companies.....untick this box and save...hopefully this should solve the problem.

  19. read this mate it may help you...i hate targeted ads, Click on the NAI link, make sure you click the op out tab at the top of the page. it finds all the companies who are tracking your habits and lists them, then if they have a stop request function you can just select them and click 1 button to stop them all, http://internet.wonderhowto.com/how-to/stop-advertising-companies-from-tracking-your-online-activity-for-targeted-web-ads-0125476/

  21. @jayb78, no the machine isnt over clocked, i never do that @fake the rteadings for the GPU temp were being displayed as the benchmark program ran and when it hit 87 the machine shut down. http://tinypic.com/r/28splw8/6
  22. i downloaded and ran that program, but i cant find where it tells you the cpu temp
  23. ok here the problem im having my pc runs ok doing everyday things like browsing the web or streaming movies to my tv, but 10 mins into playing my favorite game (world of Tanks) the pc auto shuts down without warning, and wont turn back on for about 10 - 15 mins, now i first thought it was a cooling problem so bought 3 new cooling fans and situated them around the case, but the problem persists though not as often, so then i thought it could be a PSU problem (too many resources on 1 rail, so i downloaded a program benchmark called FurMark and within seconds of running it my pc shut down, i then removed the graphics card and ran the benchmark program again using the onboard graphic it ran the program although at 1FPS lol but it didnt crash. so i replaced the GPU and manually set the cooling fan to 100% and ran the banchmark program again this time it ran for a while untill the temp topped 87 degrees at which point it shut down again, below are the specs of my pc, am i on the right track?.
