Can anyone remember the football pitch off Matthews Lane at Norton I dont mean the old Gleadless Valley school pitches that are now Sheffield United junior blades,it was further down on the left before you got to Norton Hall (Beechwood Clinic).I played in a cup final on their for Lowedges cub scouts against Holmhirst cub scouts, about 40 years ago now (that makes me feel old!)

Cant see that utd would be paying £20k a week I heard £10k thats more realistic but Charlie Adam is on £10k at Blackpool I know who I would pay £10k Henderson is a strong player but draws too much attention from referees and gives away too many fouls for me,I would offload him!

Greenhill bradway youth club,great times discos on a friday and sunday people used to come from miles around it was a top youth club,floodlit football, basketball,holiday club in lowedges park in the summer,wigan casino 78/79 ish, great memories,great music great friends from lowedges,kept a lot of people off the streets including me!

We are on 35 points at the moment,Wednesday went down last season on 47,at this stage last season Wednesday were on 40 points!Its not looking good for us but its still possible for us to stop up!

We had two at our youth club in the 70's,cant remember what the machines were but really enjoyed playin them,the highest scorer of the week used to get a pound.
