  1. Never heard of him pal Whats happened to the one who always used to sit outside Maccy D's (on fargate) with his little dog. He was ginger.
  2. Is he the same one that walks around town and has loads of layers? Carries loads of shopping bags, and has about 5 scarfs on so you can hardly see his head. But I think he is either bald or has a bald spot
  3. It seems to me that there a a lot of 'tramps' who have become very famous in sheffield. e.g. theres the one mainly seen around town centre that wear loads and loads of layers of clothes. Theres the one that looks like the english picture bible version of jesus, but with black hair and then theres the somarlian geeza who pretends he knows you, shakes your hand, then holds your hand while he asks you if you have got any spare money for him before letting go.
  4. bloody ell, theyve got a day for everything aint they. what a load of pap
  5. I just this second saw some police drive onto Maltravers Crescent with the silent blue lights on with no siren, park up and run towards a house at the start of Maltravers Crescent Anyone know of this, looked very hush hush like they wanted to catch someone in the act.
  6. I dont have any proof, its just my opinion. Sorry if put you off a bit sony. I just read my post and it did sound a quite bad. Although I do think there is some kind of quota, you still have to rive to the best of your ability and im sure if you dont give the examinor any reason to fail you then u will pass no matter what. I do think you need to have an element of luck though as with most things, and it does depend a small bit upon the examinor themself. Some examinors are known for passing people quite a lot while others are known for being quite harsh. Just be calm, do your best and see what happens GOOD LUCK
  7. well im a firm believer that the examinors have a 'quota' of the amount of people that are 'allowed' to pass each day. And sometimes I think that the examinor more or less knows as soon as they see you wether they are going to pass you or not (not literally but sort fo) I passed on my 3rd attempt. 1st attempt) failed fair and square. 2nd attempt) Drove the perfect drive, yet still failed 3rd attempt) Drove the worst ive ever drove, then was shocked when she said ive passed.
  8. lol, well that rules you out, Im out of ideas now
  9. yes but like i said, I wouldnt pass on residential details. Cheers.
  10. Now that would be a lot better than doing pass plus. You will learn things like how to handle skids, the car going out of control etc.
  11. Yes but thats coming from someone who teaches pass plus and who benefits from students paying for pass plus. passing pass plus just means you have the ability to do 6 different types of driving for an instructor so that he can tick you off on his sheet to say its been done As a real life person I find that the best way to learn is to get on the road for yourself and make your own mistakes, while obviously taking it careful and not being over confident. If this cant be done then it would be better to be in the car with an experienced driver (someone who isnt an instructor), so you get use to being on the road as your own person.
  12. well done indeed as others have mentioned, Pass Plus may not be the best of ideas. It only really makes a difference to the insurance companies who charge you loads anyway. I done loads of quotes for myself and it wasnt worth it whatsoever.
  13. ooh I didnt quite mean what people thought i meant. What I would have done is to just find out what type of number it was, ie residential or business. If it was business I would advised on who the company was. If it was residential I would have just said its residential, but I would have said wether its BT Telewest or NTL etc and what area. cheers.
  14. I previously had a Hyundai Accent, and rarely got stopped. Now drive a Subaru Impreza and get stopped at least once a week without fail. (Routine check apparently)
  15. Its possibly a sales call from Ant or similar. Try typing the full number into google, if its a business it generally comes up. Alternatively if you dont get any look PM me with the number and I can try and find out for you. (I work for a very large phone company) cheers.
  16. doesnt the law state that if there isnt a speed limit on a new road then it is 30?
  17. personally I prefer Brunette to blonde.
  18. Ive been stopped twice this week and once last week. Its a regular occurence for me
  19. I think basiacally what he meant was "whats your point". ie asians over here are a minority, and disabled people are also a minority, so to see a minority within a minority would be a rare site, just like seeing a white person in india that is disabled would also be very rare.
  20. What kind of things is it that youve heard? I suspect its the same kind of things that people (who havent even been so wouldnt know) tell people about niche.
  21. Brilliant club if you like your reggae, blues, and roots music. I love it in there, brilliant atmosphere. Id suggest anyone to go if you like that music.
  22. Congrats to young 22 year old Rotherham lad Shaun Murphy for beating Matt Stevens in the World Embassy Snooker Championships. A well deserved win, the lad played his heart out. you wouldnt have thought he was a newbie by the way he played.
  23. Saw some police cars and an ambulance today and a very badly damaged car with a load of chavs being talked to by police. I think it was Rutland stret, although im not too sure, its the road that takes you up to Shirecliffe anyway. Anyone know anything of this?
