  1. Anyone know why all the sets of lights have been out for the past 2 days in the Hunter’s Bar roundabout area? Seems mad when there are such busy crossings there, particularly with the proximity to the schools. I heard that there was a pedestrian hit today. Don’t know anything about it, but pray the person is ok.
  2. Music In The Gardens at the Botanical Gardens. http://www.musicinthegardens.co.uk
  3. Have you ever listened to Gerry Kersey on a Sunday afternoon? There's loads of this type of stuff on there. And sometimes on Rony's show on weekday lunchtimes.
  4. Hmmm...I guess it's hard to please everyone at the same time though.
  5. Isn't that what a topical show is always going to be like? If it stuck to the same subject, it'd be a bit dull, wouldn't it?
  6. Anyone seen this? Lovely stuff...especially the Supertram scene!
  7. Cllr Bryan Lodge and the Director of Operations from Amey are taking listener's calls on Toby Foster's show on Radio Sheffield from 9 tomorrow morning.
  8. It was a phone-in about antisocial behaviour. You can listen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04d3str
  9. I thought it was very funny this morning.
  10. You obviously listen often enough to know how often he does different topics on the phone in, and closely enough to know when he'll be on holiday. Impressive dedication
  11. I believe there'll be some costumes and props, but it'll be performed in front of microphones with scripts in hands. Like when they do a radio play for Radio 4 or whatever. Should be fun and it's to raise money for Children In Need.
  12. This statement has been posted on the BBC Radio Sheffield facebook page in the last hour: "Toby Foster is currently suspended from his role as presenter of the breakfast show on BBC Radio Sheffield. The BBC does not condone the offensive language used by Toby in his Twitter feed which was directed at a member of BBC staff. Toby has offered a full apology to his colleagues and the public for those comments."
