  5. hey i went there from 1971 remember Miss Hancock lovely Mr Bezant fab on piano Mrs andrews scarey Mr Hague peace man Miss Chalmers think I rememer her like you said kind. Miss singleton used to play guitar cum by yah my lord cum by yah???I Remember the 4th toilet being haunted and skin on custard.Went overto the middle scool near the sign post remember Debra Thorpe Julie my then BFF Chris Craft Andrew Wood Paul Campbell Lester,Banaras etc and the best/funniest teacher Mr Keighley loving the memories I can remember all my form tutors Miss Thompson (Very old) Miss Smith (Very Young) Miss Hancock (very fit) Miss Singleton was the Headmistress Miss Chalmers (very strict but kind) Miss Hammerton ( Stricter Loved the ruler) Mr Hussey (Loved the hockey stick) Mr Chambers (top bloke) Mr Cook was the Headmaster All in all a great school that taught discipline and to respect others that I hope I still value to this day

  9. I agree with Norbert- Kris Dhillon Curry secret I make the basic sauce but don't use the ghee.I've made loads from the book but love the Keema peas most (a mince curry) The best onion BJ recipe I use is from Gary Rhodes book great fast foods

Hi Do you also have spices ? if so this is a lovely alternative to traditional roasting Roast Chicken in Coconut Sauce 1 garlic clove 1tsp each of grounded coriander cumin turmeric chilli 1tsp salt 1 lemon grass stalk chopped 8oz onions peeled and grated 1 pint coconut milk coriander Crush the garlic and add to the spices onion and lemon grass add a little oil and a little of the milk to make a paste.Brush the paste over your chicken and place in a roasting tin then pour over the rest of the coconut milk.Gas mark 4.Keep basting from time to time with the coconut milk.When cooked garnish with the coriander. You could add your mushroom peppers and corn to the tin toward the end when the chicken is nearly done.
  12. Just got the book to add to my others cook books I've already done the Summer veggie lasagne which was really tasty even my two teens enjoyed it (used less olive oil than Jamie)
