Hi We are a band looking for a practise room somewhere in Sheffield? 24/7 access would be great but we don't mind sharing with another band to keep costs down or anything like that. A PA system would be pretty good cause we don't have one, but we have our own amps/drums ect. (Also We're new to this, do these places usually supply PAs or would we have to sort it ourselves?) Our influences are pretty wide ranging but we've been playing mostly rock n roll, indie, alternative stuff so far. Hi Me and my mate have been ask to do a gig for a private party in London for at least 60 people, and we're not sure how much to charge. They said they would also pay travel expenses on top. We do a lot of gigs but we can never get paid up front, usually door sales or whatever, so we don't know the going rate, especially for private functions. We're both 19, broke students playing very well rehearsed, tight, instrumental acoustic stuff, basically Rodrigo Y Gabriela. We put on a good show and people really seem to like it. Probably around 40 min set? Any advice? Cheers

Lots of band experience, grade 8, gigged a lot around London before I left home and my old band was on a London Radio station called Xfm as house band for the day. I can sing a bit as well. Any styles welcome, I like Hendrix, Beatles, Stones, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Primal Scream, Audioslave, Foo fighters, Muse, Guns and Roses, Raconteurs, Radiohead, also lots of Blues and acoustic stuff. I like a few metal bands but I'm not really up for playing in a metal band at the moment. I’m up for playing anything else though.
