We've just had the same sort of problem. Sent off a blackberry for repair under warranty, they deemed it beyond economical repair so sent a replacement, minus the battery and the battery cover. We've now to wait up to 14 days for them to send a battery but we have to buy the cover ourselves. 10 days without the phone and god knows how many more before the battery turns up. Useless.

Generally much less to go wrong on a diesel, so they would always be my preferred choice. Since switching to diesels about 6 years back i've not had a single breakdown. Saying that i'll probably blow my engine tomorrow now.

I prefer a larger lass misen, as long as she can function as a normal human, diets, pah.
