  2. I read threads about how to get around the car not started. The 'trick' that worked was hold down the button on the key as you start the car. But that no longer works. Not sure about a key code but i have a 4 digit security code in one of the books that came with the car? is this the same thing? Theres two threads becasue as i was typing the first one it came up with a screen saying something about this thread already exsisting and cleared my text box. I hen wrote it again and when i finally posted it it had posted my other one but half finished. icliked on it but i can find a delete button.
  3. Can anyone help, my daughters car is a Renault Clio 1.2 and the AA man says that the key is not connecting/ registering with the computer. Does anyone know anyone who can help? or any ideas as to where we can get a new key from? or the cost? Thanks
  4. Just found this thread. Both my mom and dad worked here. My dad worked there from beig 15 years old. His name is Dennis Wilman. Does anyone remember him? My mom worked there from about 1976 I think.

  13. What was your pub crawl in the earl 80's? On a Sunday we used to start off in the StoneHouse, next stop Pig and Whistle, down to the Mulberry Tavern, across to the Blue Bell, out the back to the Dove and Rainbow, down to Complete Angler, back to Three Cranes, up to Wig and Pen, finishing off in Golden Ball:D Finishing by catching the last bus from town and singing all the way home.:D

  15. Hi charliewag, ours was a great holiday, fantastic beach, great nightlife and the one thing i do remember is not being able to spend your money. Everything was so cheap. Came back with loads of shoes, bags, clothes etc and even some cash. Not bad to say I only took £150 :-) Those were the days :-)

  17. My mom worked at Stanley Tools on the twilight shift in the 70's, I would be about 6 or 7 at the time, I can remember going to the xmas parties there.Anybody else out there remember?
  18. Hi Asked my dad, but he says he couldnt remember his name.He remembers playing football with a Pete Bedford who came from Woodhouse. Hes got an old photo album and when I next go I'm going to dig it out cos I'm sure there will be some more names in there.
  19. Anyone remember chip van at top of commercial street, just round corner from classic cinema? Used to end up there most nights after having done pub crawl round town. In them days you could go out every night with a fiver and still have change at the end. Happy days:)

  21. Anyone remember going with Carnell tours to the Costa Dorada. I went to Sitges in the early 80's. First holiday abroad with the my friends. Day and half travelling, on the ferry for 8 hours. Can remember the cinema and the layback chairs.
  22. My dad was in the york and lancs. C company. He was at Pontefract September 1952 -1954. He sailed to Sudan on the Empire Ken on 1st of January 1953. Demobbed in 1954. Anyone out there who was there at the same time?
