Hi we are really interested in a new Ben Bailey housing development coming soon at Clowne just off Mansfield Road. The surrounding area seems really nice and we've we had a drive out a couple of times over the weekend and it seems nice enough and fairly quiet. Would love to hear people's opinions on what it is actually like to live there please. I've read good ofsted reports on the infant school and also the high school. At the minute we are living in Woodhouse which is ok but over the past 18 months it's gone downhill and not the place I want my 2 year old to grow up. Many thanks

Hi just wondering if anybody has been to any of the sessions and could share their/their child experience? Apparently there is also a play group session after aswell. I've been struggling to find a decent playgroup/music session in and around S13 area after my local pyjama jama group sessions were stopped in woodhouse so any info/recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, Can anyone recommend any toddler groups or play groups in the S13 (woodhouse) area or near by? I have a 17 month old little boy. We used to go to pyjama drama sessions at the dragons centre in woodhouse which we both loved but unfortunatley they were stopped due to lack of demand, so anything similar to this would be fab. Or if not just anywhere with a nice friendly environment for me and my little one to play and make new friends. Ideally on a friday as this is my set day off with work however I'm open to suggestions and prepared to travel a little further if it's going to be worth it. Thanks in advance

Hi hoping you mummies & dadies can help me out please! I am a 1st time mum to a 15week old baby boy and am desperate to start going to a baby group as he is much more awake during the day now and will be great for us to both get out of the house and socialize with other mums and babies. We live in S13 woodhouse and I am aware that they run a baby&toddler group on a wednesday at woodhouse childrens centre, but after ringing and speaking to the lady today there are more toddlers and it sounds more like a place to go just have a chat and a coffee. Can anyone recommend anywhere friendly, I don't mind going out of woodhouse area as I have a car, but I really want somewhere other than just a coffee shop iykwim? Friends I have that live in other parts of the country seem to have brilliant groups that do nursery rhymes etc Thanks in advance!
