  1. Could you please send me an email on joa08jw@sheffield.ac.uk explaining how you were treated by Sheffield homes, along with your name, location and age please? It would really help me if I could reference some real examples in my piece about Sheffield Homes. If anyone else would like to email me their experiences I would be more than grateful for your contribution Thanks, Jill Warren Uni of Sheffield
  2. I saw this letter to the star: "My friend's mother recently died suddenly. She lived in an Arbourthorne council property. My friend asked how long she had to clear out her house and was told she would have to pay a full week's rent on every week it took to clear the house and full council tax. Her mother only paid minimum rent and council tax due to benefits." Has this ever happened to anybody who has a property with Sheffield Housing? I am writing a piece on it for my coursework, it seems unfair that when someone is grieving they all of a sudden have to pay full rent on the property, it's a big burden. Thanks, Jill
  3. If anyone has had their tyres slashed or cars vandalised in the last few weeks would you be able to email me, its jill_warren@hotmail.co.uk I am writing a report on car vandalism in the area, and any personal experiences would be really valued. Thanks Jill
  4. Hello, I am a journalism student at Sheffield University, and I am following up the story of the Park Grange Chemist Fire. Has anyone had any negative experiences with the block, someone mentioned the 'low lifes' it attracts - what kind of people do you mean? My e-mail is joa08jw@sheffield.ac.uk, in paricular any comments from people who live near to the block of shops would be really useful. Thanks Jill
  5. It was last Friday that I saw them, right around school closing time. Ive spoke to a few people and they all said that this is not normally a problem. x
  6. I recently walked through the woods off of East Bank Road in Norfolk Park, near the earl marshall, and saw quite a few used needles on the side of the path near some burnt catalogues. I reported the needles to the street wardens who came and collected them, but I was just wondering if it was a regular problem in the area? It made me feel quite sick, because the needles were right next to a tyre swing, one which kids might come and play on.
  7. Hiya, where would I be able to get a copy of this newsletter?
  8. Hello, I am creating a newsletter for the Arbourthorne area, just wondering how much of a problem the tyre slashing is? If it is a common occurence and the police havent responded then it could be a good idea to give the story some coverage. Jill
