Playing two in CMF just doesnt work for us, Millwall stuck 4 past us, today was another poor decision from the manager, overun 2nd half in what must be our worst performance of the season under Rohl and in quite possibly the most important game. The first half was tedious to watch, 2 really poor sides littered with mistakes that was league one in standard, but the terriers siezed the initiative after the break and capitalised on indecision and once infront carved a hapless looking wednesday open at will. Yet another relegation under chansiris hopeless stewardship looming VERY large after today.

If Wednesday really are losing 2m a month whose to blame in your opinion? when Plymouth Argyle in the same division and champions by a distance only lost 800K over a full season and recoded a 3.5M PROFIT on their previous season? The booing was down to Palmers conduct last week, hes abused a young ball girl and left her in tears, and told her to FO all because she didnt run to fetch the ball, swapped comments with a young lad sat in the disabled section, had a run in with a section of the crowd exchanging gestures and verbals throughout the 2nd half of the league game, and at one point he became detached from the football and seemed more interested in the slanging match, pretty sure the ref went over to him when he abused the ball girl and I expected him to be subbed off when CC made their subs such was his conduct at that stage. If you court controversy you run the risk of escalation, which is what happened, emotions were running high in that part of the stadium, had he let his football do the talking what followed wouldnt have happened.

The result neither side wanted, not a great watch, Wednesday rarely got behind Cov citys defence and resorted to shooting from distance. Cracking goal right on halftime, but the midfield were nowhere near to close out the shot, Wednesday got a head of steam up in the last quarter of the game and could have pinched an unlikely win, Gassama easily the pick of the Owls players, but like last weeks game a huge gap in quality, midfield especially, and it looked like a decent league one side at home to a decent championship team. Chansiri will have to spend heavily on quality if its not to be a league one return

Twice this season Ive seen us be the better side and lose against cardiff to late goals, so it was good to finally nail them. Both keepers were busy throughout and made some great saves, but we stuck 3 excellent finishes away, and the under fire Dawson saving two pens inside the 1st ten minutes turned the tables on his detractors with a MOM performance. Was a bit suprised to see a pretty strong squad on the park, expected at least a couple of kids in the line up from the off, although they did enter once the result was more or less safe, on the day Cardiff were poor infront of goal.

Hull really stuffed us at their place, so wasnt expecting too much tonight, certainly not a win, weve bossed that 1st half but the final ball or choice of pass was awfull, Hull were pretty physical and petulant at times, lots of niggly pulls and pushes of players after the balls gone, theres a really nasty foul on Windass that goes unpunished but the red when it came seemed to take the sting out of Wednesday. Was it a red, hes gone in at pace two footed so hes given the ref a decision to make its a close call, but I felt Byers was unlucky the other night, small margins. But they burst into life when we all stood screaming for a pen for a clear foul on Fletcher, MJ just hammers the loose ball into the roof of the net, followed up by two further superb strikes from Gassama and Windass whod been having a bit of a verbal slanging match with a couple of the hull players throughout the 2nd half. Lots of spare seats around us tonight, quite a few said the transport issues meant theyd not make tonights game, didnt look like 27k to me tonight.

Very tense 2nd half, Wednesday dug in but got very deep and struggled to get out, survived a couple of scares, especially when they got in behind and hit the bar. From what I saw of the Byers red card, they were pushing and pulling as they got up and Byers seemed to react swinging an arm towards their player so it will be for violent conduct, yet again. Heaven knows how that rebecca is a prem ref shes been hopeless everytime Ive seen her and was the same tonight.

I work in Silkstone/ Dodworth currently and its a lovely area to live, doctors are good, lots of nice walks for dog owners in miles of wooded areas, its mainly for the older end, theres a co op in dodworth, the people are very welcoming, potting shed near silkstone church do nice food and a nice indian and chip shop and close enough to the town by bus ride to access all you need.

Wednesday did come into the game more 2nd half and created chances that, as usual werent taken, two swipes inside the 6 yard box were both repelled and young Cadamateri tested the keeper with a snap effort, but in reality CC never lost control and again we dug our own grave as this time Johnson wasnt close enough to his man to stop a cross and we payed the ultimate price. Again its the lack of goals throughout the side thats hampering any sustained momentum the fact the new manager has now resorted to promoting kids that DO score to try and manufacture a goal threat is indicative of the squads lack of goals.

Ive seen Cov city twice this season and in both games, Hudders and WBA they were nothing like as fluid or threatening as last season , but that was earlier in the season and the new intake werent fully upto speed, a 3-0 win at sunderland suggests theyre starting to gel since I last watched them.

Wednesdays inability to take chances cost them the chance to claw further toward the safety line after dominating play for a large part of the game, Dawson making just one decent stop, untill Cardiff turned up for just 15 minutes and two calamatious mistakes in defence cost them points, johnson got caught upfield losing possession and leaving a huge gap that cardiff exploited, Famewo went to cover leaving the space for player to pass past Dawson into the corner and the 2nd came via a deflection off Valentins foot wrong footing Dawson the ball squirms out of his grasp and and Famewo under pressure to clear slides into the net with the ball. Wednesday had two pen claims turned away, but had 3 chances that should have hit the back of the net and the season long issue of a lack of goals throughout the squad again cost them points.
