Muslims like any of you lot out there reading and replying to these threads only really want to do one thing and thats get by best you can. No one religion is any better than the other and no one nation more or less deserving than the other. The Pakistani people will enivitably suffer. They've had an horrific time over the last few months but like any other country that might suffer the same terrible fate tough times are ahead. But us humans are tough nuts to crack and it takes more than mother nature to break us. Pakistan will endure and endevour as they have done for many years now. To cause injustice to anyone no matter who they are or what they believe is to cause an injustice to yourself and surely that's just plain idiotic. Right then rant over I'm off to hug a tree.... P

If that article is true kay_cee then I'm really quite shocked but not all that surprised. It's the old Christian Vs Muslim quarrel. How ironic that they both worship the same God, have the same values, adhere all thier beliefs to one book, both acknowledge Jesus and Moses and both preach that dying in the name of God is ok. Personally I think God would be pretty p*ssed if I sacrificed the greatest gift there is...life.

Not that I hold this view personally but I imagine there is alot of phobia about Pakistan here the UK. It's difficult to be compassionate about a country where extremists go to learn how to make bombs. This doesn't necessarily reflect the views and idea's about the Pakistani people (or any Muslims for that matter) but lets face it there are monsters out there who do take advantage of poverty stricken countries like Pakistan to hide from the rest of the world. Didn't see the world leaders and thier peoples rushing to help America either...simular reasons I suspect. P

Was wondering if any of you fellow forumers might know somewhere that might be able to give me an estimated value of a map my grandparents have been kind enough to give me. It's a map of Lincolnshire and they reckon it was made sometime in the 1800's. They suggested that I have it valued and insured as it's worth quite alot of money apprantley. Cheers all... P

I've just been reading about that after doin a Google search, I'm having doubts now. The reason i started poking around in the first place is because my computor has started running very slowly this week and it's geting to the point where apps like Photoshop and Illustrator are becoming more and more difficult to use. Perhaps it's just because they use alot a resources and it's time I bought some more RAM. P

Just been checking out what's going on on my Pc using Task Manager and saw that i have Isass.exe running in the backround which I know to be a virus, thing is my firewall/antivirus (MCAfee) aint picking it up when I do a scan. Does anyone know how I can locate and boot its unwelcome butt offa my computor? Cheers P

I jumped into bed with Bulldog Broadband and now I have a 4meg connection speed...well most of the time anyway, my line is victim to the odd drop out at night time but from what i've read on this thread that seems to be the norm.

Maybe i was a little insulting but that fella needs waking up, it's attitudes like his that are leading this country down a road I care not to follow, a road that lets companies like PCworld squeeze out any compo with marketing promises that they have no intention on living up to. And is it really neccessary for me to be reported to the mods for thinking that someone is an idiot? Here's an original idea: stick up for yourself and make a decent argument. Prove to everyone that your the bigger man by turning things around and making me look like the dumbass. Dont, what ever you do, give me more excuses for me to post bitter little rants like this one by running to the mods every time someone upsets your precious little world. So am in trouble again now?

It's also the same place i recently bought my PC which is almost identicle to the one in the link above. The important thing to look at is the disk space and memory and this PC has plenty of both. And then of course there's the all important graphics card. I have the same one as this PC does and it'll do you just fine, it's not brillant but it's a good start ( I also have it and I can play most new game if i turn down some of the video settings. The only down side is, you dont get a moniter but I'm sure if you look around on the website you'll no doubt find a bargin. A few games i recently bought: Black and White 2 Age of Empire 3 F.E.A.R Rome Total War Quake 4 (however my system doesn't seem to like this game to much, so get F.E.A.R instead, it's much better anyway) See what a nice fella I am. and you had the cheek to report me to the mods...naughty daz. P

Hey hang on there one minute Avalon I heard PC WORLD are very good...oh hang on, no i didn't. High street shops baaaad, small indepentant retailers goooood.

Check out http://www.europc.co.uk/ it's where i got my computer from and for value or money you cant do much better. If your not sure about what you want/need call them, tell what you would use your computer for and give em a price range. You can get yourself a very nice PC for around £300-350 (without a monitor). They're based in Glasgow and my computer was delievered within 48 hours. Also the after sales suppot is very good, if you have a problem they'll try and sort it over the phone if they cant do tat they'll take it a away and fix it. Good luck P

Not to sure, how do I check? At the back of it there is room for a USB and a ethernet cable so I plugged them both into my computer to be sure. I've had my internet connection drop a couple of times tonight which i'm not best pleased with because this new modem was supposed to address that particular problem.

Forgot to say, Bulldog say that in two months ADSL2 will be up and running and rekon that anyone live within 2km of thier exchange will be able to get upto 24meg connection speed...which is nice.
