  1. That's good to hear, if we were to move there where should we avoid in the S5 area?
  2. Me and my girlyfriend recently started looking for a house and noticed how very cheap the prices seem to be in the S5 area, obviously this means that general market opinion is low house prices=scummy chav area but is it true in this case. Is S5 really that bad to live in? Cheers tb
  3. Good point about the power packs, maybe i'm due for a spring clean. When it crashes the screen stops what it's doing (no scrambled graphics though) and the sound goes a bit mental. This happens for about 10 secounds then it switches itself off. If i try and turn it on straight away it'll turn itself off again so I leave for a minute or so then all is well. Could it be the soundcard maybe?
  4. not to many ideas floatin about out there then? bummer

  6. Anyone here know of an software available that will allow me to sample quotes from my DVD collection? If not perhaps a website that'll let me download movie quotes free and legally? Hope so... Cheers P

  8. Have you managed to get this working? I downloaded it but nothing seems to happen?
  9. those blue links make my eyes hurt, make them go away!
  10. Ok I'm a little confused Just what exactly do you people deem 'success' to be? Please tell me success is more than selling a few crappy records or getting a poxy promotion at work.
  11. No it's not English. Although believe it or not I used to teach English to students in Poland, not an easy thing to do when you've got dyslexia (not an excuse for sloppy English) but the students used to get a laugh out of it. I'm doing Graphic Design.
  12. Thanks ppn_2204 For the record I'm a mature student (apprantly!!) but I know what you mean.
  13. Okay recently got a project from Uni and I'm hoping that you forumers can provide me with a little inspiration: If I said to you 'The world at your feet' what would be your first thought? Look forwad to hearing your answers, ta. P:thumbsup:
  14. Luck for me my headphones are wireless otherwise i'd be real scared of you headphoneophobes (that's probably not a real word)! But lets face it the buzz noise from headphones is incomparable next to the new mobile with inbuilt mp3 players with in built speakers. It just gives the chavs of this world another weapon to really drill my skull.
  15. Ya know I got so caught up in Lavelles set that i completely forgot to check out the secound room!!! However not sure who he was but the fella warming up for Lavelle certainly deserves a mention as well. An excellent breaks set.
  16. Anyone else go to the James Lavelle gig on tuesday (7th feb)? I went with a mate and was very happily surprised, the man's pure electronic filth!
  17. Wow I didn't know there was a real Ming the Merciless! He needs to get himself an all American nemesis, perhaps an athlete, I know a how about a quarter-back? We could call him Gordon....Flash Gordon! Just kidding but you're wrong Ming-rah is perfect!
  18. MINGDOM??? Is that where all the Mingers come from? Is ruled over by the evil Ming-rah?
  19. Any excuse to put chav families behind bars is fine by me....
  20. There are plenty of headphones at there that utilize bluetooth, and you can get them for as cheap as £30-35 but finding headphones to do thing jobs i need them to do seems to be a different matter.
  21. I've spent the last few weeks browsing the internet looking for some new headphones but am having a real problem finding something that fits into what I need so I thought i'd turn to my trusty forumers for help. Here's what I need: 1) bluetooth 2) with a built in mic 3) will connect with my pc (for VOIP) and my ipod 4) no morethan £50 Didn't think it would be such a problem but it appears I'm wrong. Cheers P
  22. I'm with Bulldog and am having no issues at the moment, however every so often I have the same problem. Call them up but avoid customer services and go straight to the technical department (option 2 then option 1 I think) tell them what's going on. Like I said the same happens to me every so often but Bulldog have always been very good at sorting it out. If your using the Speedtouch 330 dump it and get something else cause it's rubbish. Currently I'm using the Bt Voyager 105 USB modem which is very good for a cheap modem, however Bulldog do also sipport Netgear products which are certainly one of the more popular choices out there. Good luck P
