  1. Can you give me the link to your shop pls. Can't find it on Ebay
  2. Funnily enough I buy mine from Ebay Depending, I usually pay approx £40 for them - even the new ones.
  3. Thanks for the heads up. Will definitely be paying them a visit in the near future.
  4. Hi Peaches - so sorry for you love (hugs). Your doctor sounds like a right pain. Have to say I'm lucky with my surgery, but have been in your position in the past and had a right old rant, like you. Will be on & off the forum so feel free to rant away.
  5. Hiya Peaches. So sorry you're feeling so lousy. I always think pain is much worse (or feels that way) at night. I reckon you should be taking your painkillers maybe on a 24 hour basis, rather than all through the day with the last dose maybe at bedtime. I find that keeping pain relief up to a level works for me. Your doc doesn't sound as if he gives you much support either. Is there a more sympathetic doc at your clinic that you could talk to. Wishing you all the best for the future, and hope you soon feel better.
  6. There's a unit in the Industrial Units off Penistone Road (the old road). Follow this road from Hillfoot Bridge on the Old Road, it's the first set of units on the left, opposite Hillsborough Fencing. I've had some really big cross stitches framed there - can thorougly recommend them.
  7. I've had mine for a couple of years - love it Cartridges aren't cheap but there's loads on them.
  8. Sooooo glad you mentioned Craft Warehouse. I've passed it loads of times and always thought it was for wholesale only. Husband won't be pleased I can tell you - will have to pay them a visit. Thanks again
  9. I agree re Sewandso.co.uk - have used them for years - service is excellent and so are the prices. Anybody interested in machine embroidery? Can thoroughly recommend Lords SewKnit at Oswaldtwistle Mills in Lancs. About 1.1/2 hours up the motorway but they do mail order on the net. Stock Brother sewing machines and all the threads & stabilisers needed for machine embroidery. Service is excellent, as are the staff. Stockists of Anita Goodesign embroidery CDs.
  10. Hi fellow back sufferers. Had my problems since 1979 and still suffering. Like most of you, I've been on the pain relief path with no/little success. Good luck with the DLA. I was granted it 2 years ago, had to reapply this year only to be turned down!. Needless to say, it was the DWP doctor who put the boot in, so I WILL be appealing.
  11. Hey - so sorry about your problems. Hope your ligaments heal quickly (Hugs)
  12. We're currently sitting in a caravan at sunny Cleethorpes (not) with the fan heater on. Trust me - it's cowd here
