  1. Need kitchen wall and floor tiles doing and wanting a good job doing do if anyone has any recommendations. New kitchen has just fitted
  2. I work in a garage and was wondering if the employer is required to supply boots etc. They supply basic bits like goggles etc and overalls they get free anyway but im in need of a new pair of boots
  3. down to monocouche weber pral m now or traditional and painted, decisions decisions. read ups and downs about both
  4. Is it possible to traditional render a pebbble dash garage so I could do the side thats next to the house then paint that too?I dont mind having the house painted if it lasts quite a long time, is it less prone to cracking traditional render?
  5. shaws are coming to give me a quote so will see what they advise. My other option im considering is having the side of the house half rendered(as at the moment its fully dashed) and the brickwork cleaned up and re pointed to match the front which is half rendered and then full render at the rear. either way the choice is canterbury spa to match garage monocouche or rendered smooth and painted
  6. what would weber look like 20 years down the line?, some Ive seen looks good some looks patchy, some Ive seen cracked which im scared of it doing if I had it done. Also noticed it can look dirty below window ledges etc. my garage is at the side of the house in canterbury and unsure if it would look right in weber render
  7. cheers thats what your renderer said earlier when i rang, keep away from weber and use german and also advised shaws as he was busy. Do shaws do canterbury spa as thats what im looking at now to match my garage or just render like weber
  8. In the process of sorting having my house re rendered. Its either smooth render weber pral m or re dashed in canterbury spa(top half front full back and sides) to match my garage. It is already dashed but horrible dull old type render thats past it. What would people advise for the long term we cannot decide between the two. I like the look of the coloured render but being full side of the house it might be a bit full on and unsure if its good stuff or not or new looking spa dash to match the garage and easy maintenance. Anyone know about weber pral m render? if its any good
  9. its goin to my local garage does this help?
  10. what if towing to a garage for work??
  11. is it legal using a bar not a rope to tow a car.The car being towed isnt taxed or tested just need to get it home. Whats the laws or regulations on this?
  12. you cant have a friendly discussion with my neighbour, if you knew him youd know what I mean. id rather send a letter by post and see what happens I think
  13. didnt want to hear that my neighbours arent the best, what if they dont agree? what did it cost you do do yours roughly all finished
  14. To remove a chimney breast. Its in the kitchen and want to make the room bigger when we have a new kitchen fitted. The upper part of the chimney will need supporting correctly with a beam. Will i need planning permission or anything. Was told i might need to mention it to our neighbour too and agree to it? is this true im unsure what the process is to getting it done
  15. had my driveway done and garage is up, anyone want to give me a quote on doing the kerb drop.i have permission just need someone with the public liability for the council
