  1. Pretty certain it's 10pm through the week, 8pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday, they changed their opening times last year.
  2. How late...? Tesco closes at 10pm Mon-Fri, otherwise the closest place would be the Spar at the other end of Woodseats, which is open 24hrs.
  3. Sad that you made an assumption.... my husband who I had two kids with had his own businesses, a few years into our relationship we went bankrupt, he gradually turned into a wife beating alcoholic, I stuck with him for 13yrs until I couldn't take anymore. I made a new life for me and the kids and like the op I went through the CSA to try and get a little help to bring up 'our' kids but got a measly £5 too..... the point is you don't know the cirmcumstances, yet you judge
  4. Depends on where you are in the city but I love the chippy on Abbey Lane, Woodseats
  5. You don't say what sort of stuff you like but the Tuesday Club bbq is on on the 16th, starts at 2pm in Bar One beer gardens (free entry) then head to the F & F, which is on until about 4am... http://www.tuesday-club.co.uk/?p=287
  6. It's the only number available (oh and Meadowhall won't put you through), my daughter was trying to contact them for ages, just to warn you too, leave your number and get them to ring you back, the call charges are quite high..
  7. Maybe people should start going to their homes and taking their stuff back
  8. accident between Homebase and the 4 lane traffic lights, closed that part of the road so would suggest people try alternative routes for now
  9. Your Avatar names says a lot , I wasn't trying to be pedantic just helpful for directions, since Windsor Rd is a small turning that doesn't actually take you into the car park, however the turning on Chesterfield Rd does
  10. Hi Kirsty Will you be involving spouses/partners of people with MH problems, especially if you are involving the CMHT to provide talks, I've found that the spouse/ partner gets little or no support at all from the already overstretched services in Sheffield.
  11. it's Chesterfield Rd surely.? and yeah it's definitely open until midnight
  12. Have to say I agree with this, my daughter's ex bf lived on there and there was always trouble with gangs hanging around, they harassed my daughter when she had to walk home from there at night
  13. I went to Jay Jays too on London Rd for both my daughters cadet boots and sorry we don't have any sz 6's
  14. the fishmongers, of all places on Woodseats, excellent for eggs and sourced locally
  15. Welcome Radomu - Endcliffe is pretty central for everything, certainly close enough for any work you would get in the city centre (easy walking distance). With regards your meals...it's a bit of a personal preference about how many meals you have a day but you could make a big batch of chilli/casserole and freeze batches or soup, all of them really easy, try to use seasonal veg tho' will work out cheaper. Always have plenty of pasta/rice in stock, it's amazing what you can knock together with your left over veg... Oh and if you're sharing a dorm, I'm sure joining funds would help with the food bills
