You might want to give Redbush (Rooibos) tea a try. Its from the redbush plant & is naturally caffeine free. It is supposed to help do things like repair your stem cells, which in turn will help ward off hayfever etc. They sell it in Somerfiled/Sainsburys etc. They also do it with different flavours - lemon/vanilla etc. The only one of thiose I like is the lemon. It doesnt really need honey etc, but it has a slight aroma to it. I drink it all the time. try it & see. Kevin

Hey Sanman - a few bee type questions for you: Whats propolis? Is is the same as Royal Jelly? If its not what exactly is Royal Jelly? Also - is it the different types of pollen that make runny honey as opposed to set honey, or do you do anything different? Sorry for the long list!!!! Re the beekeeper@ Greystones - Rivelin isnt that far - do you have any contact details?? Of course when you have some Ill buy some from you. Please dont tell me to buzz off!!!!!

hello the honey discusson is interesting thanks. My son is 11 & he gets chronic hayfever. We try to make him drink loads of water (dehydration is the cause of a lot!!) & have started to give him a spoon of honey morning & night. I shall be buying some Hesley Honey, but does anyone know of any more local honey providers nearer Ecclesall/Greystones? I gather local honey is better because of the pollen types that make up the honey. Any info greatfully received!!!

Buying dried chillies in sheffield
charjoe replied to d0wn_under's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Hello - just joined the forum after doing a google search for "Thai Ingredients Sheffield". I have today been to the aforementioned Thai Chada in London Road. I was amazed at the choice of completely fresh ingredients - I have come away with kaffir limes & leaves, coriander (with the root not just the leaf), holy basil & sweet basil - all very cheap & extremely fresh. The lady owner was also very pleasant indeed. I have loved Thai Food since spending a month there in the early 1990s & used to cook a fair bit when I lived in London (there was a large Wing Yip in Croydon where you could get some fresh stuff). I havent cooked much Thai since living in Sheff as I didnt seem to be able to buy the ingredients. Now I have found the Thai Chada, things will change. Thanks for posting the shop details!
