I'm considering getting some stand alone heaters and just ditching economy 7 altogether but i don't know if that'd be much cheaper in the long run.

I live on my own in a single bedroom flat. I am at work all day and the heating is economy 7. Eon just got off the phone and have just increased my DD payments from £33 per month which was setup in september based on an everage meter reading to a wopping £193 per month to pay off the debt of the last 3 months. Average monthly usage since it's become cold seems to be about £120 so that means the economy 7 heating which should be cheap to run is costing about £90 per month at the moment. Anyone else with economy 7 getting huge bills or am i doing something wrong? It's a rented property and the landlady has specifically asked that i don't switch supplier, i guess she has shares in Eon.

Hi, I've just received 2 emails this morning saying i've tried to login too many times and that my accounts locked ( yet i can use it now ). Should i be worried? I don't really want to loose my account. Part of the email says "The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 72.233.34.186" I'm guessing it's some spam robot that's either picked me at random or alphabetically but i don't know what sheffield forums ban / locked account policy is really and don't want to get locked out because of some spam tool someone is using. I'm on Azsune horde side, been playing this game far too long but the guild is really good. It's made up of people i knew before i got into the game so it's much more sociable for me than most people. I think sometime last year that on a particular server there's a sheffielders guild. hi, Not sure if anyone can help me on this one. I've had a look around on the net and it sounds possible but i don't know much about firewalls / routing. Basically I use a VPN connection to log onto my clients network so i can remote administer their webserver. However this then stops me from accessing the internet and MSN etc on my own machine. Does anyone know a way of setting up something on my machine ( XP Pro ) so that i can have a VPN active and also access the internet normally? Thanks Aaron

Yes it goes to the train station at manchester airport. When there it's just a case of walking to whichever terminal you need which only takes about 5 minutes if the travelators are working. The other week when i last went via train it was 20 quid return from sheff train station but it could be less if you pay in advance.

thanks for the reply, i ended up going to the t-mobile shop yesterday as i was due a freeish upgrade. Seems to have made a tiny difference inside the house in that i mostly get a signal. Outside i get 4 bars now so it sounds like the flat has something to do with it.

Hi, I'm on T-Mobile with a Sony Ericsson t610 and inside my flat i get no signal at all. Outside i get 1 bar maybe 2 on a good day and i live down abbeydale road towards totley. Now the reason i'm posting is that i've managed to break my charger this morning and figure it's time for a new phone, lame reason i know but i've had this one years. I don't want to stay with t-mobile if i'm going to have no signal in my own home though. Does anyone who lives around this area have any similar issues with networks or the same / similar phone? Sorry if it's not really technical, i just didn't know where to post it. cheers Aaron

I put them to one side and when there's enough i give them to my sister who's skint at uni. Usually about 30 quid at that point.

Go to the corp and and if you still feel like getting a haircut do it. I know all about having long hair and profesional working environments, if it's long enough to tie back it helps but at the end of the day it didn't help me so i loped it all off. Having short hair in the corp though doesn't help.

Hmm, Absynth. Actually the stuff tastes awful even though i admit to owning a bottle of it. Does the job though.

Smoking is a real turn off for me yet so many women smoke.
