Can anyone recommend a good resonably priced LCD tv repair place in Sheffield or surrounding areas? My old LCD tv has decided not to turn on anymore! Cheers

There are lots of things that can cause it to go right, I had the same problem until I swapped to a cobra driver as they are setup slightly closed which helps to stop the slice. Try putting your right foot slightly further forward than your left at address, this can also help. For some good golf tips check out a guy called clemshaw on youtube, his videos are really good

I didn't mean nightlife as in banging parties etc I meant what the area is like at night (quiet, full of youths etc)

Hi, I know laughton common/dinnington are classed as Rotherham but was wondering if anyone has any opinions on the area or anyone who already lives in the area! Me and my fiance are buying a house in laughton common and I cant find much information on the area itself. From what we have seen it looks a pretty nice area but obviously not living there yet havent had chance to expereince night time, local pubs/shops etc. Any opinions appreciated

Thanks Im on the Parklands estate. What I want to know is why does S2 only start getting deliveries tomorrow when the rest of the city has been getting them this week! I know the snow has meesed things up but its been passable for the last week at least. Thanks for the quick replies

Im in S2 and havent received any post now for nearly 2 weeks. Im expecting some documents from the bank and numerous other christmas presents ordered of the internet. I know the snow has caused havoc but cant see any reason why we wouldnt be reciving post now. Has anyone got the local delivery office number on pond street?

Hi, Me and the mrs are getting married in April next year and we are looking for a place in the local area that will make some wedding rings for us out of some 18c gold we were given by the family. We originally looked at selling the gold and buying the ring however even with the high price of gold we were only being offered a very limited amount. Does anyone know of anywhere that can do this? We could go to the jewellery quarter in Birmingham but would prefer somewhere local. Thanks in advance

Hi, I've been playing for a while now but still struggle to shoot under 100! Now that there seems to be quite a few people starting out might be worth having a meet one day/night at a driving range. My advise for getting started is, getting yourself some cheap clubs and spending some time down the range but also some professional tutition. I have had lessons with Jason at Rother Valley in the past and more recently at Peter Cowen in Rotherham both of which are good and would recommend. The key to hitting the golf ball is, swing slowly, keep your head still and dont try to hit the ball at 150 miles an hour! If I could do all this im sure I would be a great player :-)

Im going to give the Pete Cowen golf acadamy a go first and see how I get on with it. It would be nice to get out and play but this bloody snow is ballsing it right up!

Hi, Can anyone recommend a descent golf instructor thats based in Sheffield? I've looked around and can see plenty of PGA pro's at the various golf courses but am wondering if anyone has any previous experience and can recommend someone. Thanks

Ive also been looking at becoming a member of a golf course in Sheffield and am thinking about joining the Golfit Scheme. Does anyone know if they have any societies down at tinsley? I ask as id like to get a proper handicap and with these courses not having there own committe type thing for putting in score cards wondered if there was anyway of doing it alongside the golfit membership? I need a regular playing partner. I work shifts and so have quite alot of time off during the week but the people I usually play with can only make weekends! Ive played Rother Valley and Tinsley Park in Sheffield. I want to try out the other council courses in and around the sheffield area. Also played Owston Hall in Doncaster which I thought was a very good course.
