  1. That community centre has a cooker so why are you spreading lies
  2. its awful for parking there and ive heard they may be looking to regulate on street parking due to the issues there id park near the old don valley stop and catch the tram from there or the woodbourn road area
  3. i think it inevitable that they will alter the trams to accomodate this just as they do at christmas and also when large events are on at the arena ( disney on ice etc) as for norfolk park its not that ideal to get to from the tram you either have to walk up hill to or through the estate to get in from the top and its ok if you know the area but not many do i even thought ponderosa was a bit dodgy to get to with variuos underpasses etc.
  4. i think the councillors will be very aware of the issues as they live in the area also there is a football team that brings in nearly 25000 every other week and nearly 30000 on big occasions if anything it will be easier as the crowds wont all descend and leave at the same time. regarding traffic i would lthink more people would use public transport as most will want a drink or two it doesnt seem to be an issue in town/ponderosa in the past
  5. maybe if the councillors attend we could get them to ask the question as to what SWFC pay for the sole use of the car park on match days, at the time this was set up the car park was free now the council could easliy get all day parking for £4/5. i for one think they should be paying the market rate for its use that could also go towards the park 50 spaces ( at a guess) at £5 a space x 24 games = £6000 not counting cup games and also premium for sole use. ill lay money that the council dont see that much
  6. what former playing fields ? do you mean off Earl Marshall Road as they were never playing fields
  7. i wouldnt live there lots of drug abuse /dealing etc which brings its own problems, theres better areas near to the unis to live in
  8. Isnt the reason they use the white lines is so that people with a disabled badge also cannot park there ( as some seem to think they can park anywhere as the badge gives them complete immunity)
  9. as you say not the best but by no means the worst in my opinion i would go for musgrave at shirecliffe decent area and near local amenties pub/tesco/good transport etc
  10. Its obvious you do have a grudge otherwise you wouldnt say they were overpaid as someone who voulnteers for the TARA your not going the right way to be dealt with seriously if you think they are overstaffed ( which they are not) or overpaid (please explain how they are overpaid and what pay they should receive). you seem a very petty little person who has ideas of grandeur over what you actually bring to the area.
  11. If you go to the Wicker Pharmacy they can give you a sharps container and you can drop it off with them and they'll dispose of it if its a small amount, if its a large amount you could ring SCC environmental health
  12. Why do you think the council should PAT test all your appliances ? ---------- Post added 27-06-2017 at 00:10 ---------- it isnt the tenants hall its is a meeting room for use by the community whether or not they are a tenant
  13. have youtried the council to see if any community centres fit the bill or try a working mens club
  14. well said sprinklers are not the holy grail i think we will find that the issues in London also be down to the TMO not carrying out relevent actions as a result of Fire risk assessments ( if indeed any risk assessments were carried out). i alos think they possibly scrimped on areas to save some money
  15. i did say what kind of an MP he would be rather than what has he done in the past that could be embarrassing. still at least hes not the leader of a liberal party that finds it difficult to agree with gay sex until he had to clarify to not make him look a homophobe and absatined on vote for gay same sex marriage.
  16. yes i still have the faint hope that they decide to extend and also towards ecclesfield/chapeltown ( via Northern general )
  17. well maybe they did know as they had met him my issue is why Katie implies she cant trust the new bloke as hes hardly been in long enough to judge him. i believe clegg lost through a number of reasons hes still blamed for going into coalition with the tories/tuition fees etc his campaign seemed to be vote for me to anyone else he took Hallam for granted especially since the last election hardly turned up to vote
  18. you can but it will be sent on to your MP i must say you sound rather immature to believe it has gone to hell when he has only been elected on Thursday, why would you not trust your MP when you dont know what kind on MP he will be.
  19. if it a communal aerial they will do it for you, but more likely it will be down to your sister to get it sorted at her own expense
  20. well technically it cost them £110 for a year to park in town
  21. yes it is and by the nature its us, as fradulent use stops people paying for a space that money is then goes into the coffers to pay for things. it does look like if you are caught its best to turn up to court as the fines are significantly higher if you dont attend
  22. all depends on what work is involved if any timber repairs need doing and what you want it painting in (Dulux, Johnstones etc.) also get 3 quotes from differnet contractors then you can better judge
  23. ive slao had two dogs from that site and while i can understand their reasons for not having them on show as it may be stressful to the dogs, i too have had issues with one particular person, mine was male and was completely annoyong compared to the other staff who couldnt be more helpful. i think some of them do go a bit too far and on one hand you can understand as they must see some awful things but sometimes a bit of common sense doesnt go amiss. i would look at their website and not let this put you off using that branch just because of the actions of one person
  24. mmm another academy it makes you wonder how much there staffing costs are some office managers are on £50K in these places and heads/super heads on over £100,000
  25. why would anyone need a heads up if they're parked illegally then they deserve everything they get.
