Just bumping this one up as I know you were out flyering last night so you are still looking ! Will look again on the field tonight when I take the boys out as you must be frantic ? Also it may be worth walking in the evening dark time at the top of the field leading onto Cary Ave bottom of our drive as the local cats tend to congregate there Hope you find him soon -

Hi I have a couple of friends that are going away shortly and have asked if I know of anyone that takes care of your dog in their home ? Reasons for not being kennels is the fact that one in particular had a bad experience and feels he will be alot better in a home enviroment Thanks in advance

What percentage of your invitees accepted?
foodmummy replied to bensonhedges's topic in General Discussions
Regarding actual wedding your are in single figures now the evening bit lots and lots of experience shows only 75% of invited guests will attend evening parties Only once have I had a wedding that more came for the wedding breakfast than the 40 originally booked every events nightmare eek ! More like 70 walked through the door and with a little or should I say alot of juggling we served them all ....never again though -
Oh so so sorry run free Ghillie at Rainbow Bridge sending love to you all at this really sad time xxxxxxxx

The dog that the kennels lost before and was found in Chesterfield 3 days later by the police at 4.00 am was my lovely boy Josh. Excuse then was he had climbed a 12 foot fence ! he was 14 and not Scooby doo. Any way it was 2 days before they informed us and by then we were frantic but thank god he was found now all our boys come away with us. They were completely unremorseful and to add insult to injury offered us the cost of the couple of days he actually stayed there back. I really hope you get your kitties back weve seen all your posters up around Eckington and as for those cattery/kennel owners something needs to be done!

RSPCA charging to view animals for adoption
foodmummy replied to confusedmum's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
Confused by all this things get so blown out of proportion. Just before New Year I found that the RSPCA had a collie cross looking to be rehomed but website had very little info so popped in to enquire and even on a really busy day the staff went out of their way to help and not pestered for a donation for their time I quite happily gave it and would happily give more. Out come of taking up a good few hours of their time Riley came to live with us on Jan 2nd and prior to collection I was told that I would need a collar/lead to take him home so I wasnt forced into buying anything from them. As for food I did buy a bag of theirs purley as he is a young boy and a cruelty case which did involve a certain food to fill him up. He now lives happily with his brother from another mother Bailey and Im so glad that he was rescued and will happily donate to any rescue for taking up their time
