Has anyone seen this website http://www.ratemyflat.co.uk? I used it to pick the apartment I live in now. Where I previously lived the landlord didn't care when there was issues with the house but using this website I read a review on my apartment before I took it! Kelham Island has been improved over the years and is now quite a large populated apartment area in Sheffield. As there are still a lot of industrial buildings in the area it is still seen as a quite "dodgy" area. Kelham Island and Neepsend need more retail units to pick it up more. Red light areas pop up in all areas of Sheffield. Once the police move them along they go somewhere else then end up circling back on themselves its the way of the world. As with living anywhere..Young woman shouldn't walk home alone at night from town and always keep your doors locked. I know people who live in Lodge Moor and Fulwood and Sheffield City Council have stuck Prostitutes, druggies and pedo's in flats up there. No where is safe these days!!
