I'm free those dates, have kit, transport and skills. What sort of money and what kind of practice schedule ? Where do you guys rehearse, how long is the set, where are the gigs etc etc. If you send me a list of tunes I can give you a very quick indication of whether I'll be able to do them or not. And as many answers to those questions as you can provide !

Might be able to help, but not immediately. Aiming to get a room very soon for recording, and teaching. Would be clean, tidy, well-equipped and have a decent drum kit (mine or yours or a combo of both?) How often would you be wanting to rehearse, would it be on your own or with a band, and what sort of hours would you be wanting access? Thanks Adam

Ambitious, dedicated and fun-loving soul band seek Keyboard and Brass members to fill out line up and replace one member. Current Line up: Lead Vox Guitarist/Vox Drummer/Vox Bass Percussionist/Vox We practice on Thursday nights, so you must be available at least once a week on a Thursday. We have one or two paid gigs waiting and more in the pipeline, We are fairly new, having only been on the circuit around 6 months so this is a real chance to make a big difference to a band who are already jelling very well but are also very open to suggestions of covers/mash-ups/ideas in general.

Worth mentioning that we plan to do paid gigs on the wedding/function circuit, so we are looking for people who are committed, and want to do this professionally!

I am wanting to put on a fundraiser for peace in the park,we have a date in mind - 19th April - and a brilliant ceilidh band but are struggeling to find a venue where we can run our own bar or at least split the proceeds. Hello Mike, I'm intrigued by your post. We have a band studio and practice room which seriously needs some work doing. We wanna put in a partition sound proof wall with a double or triple glazed window. We have some money for materials but it's the labour and skills to do it we're lacking. To get it done professionally would surely cost an arm and a leg. Might you be interested in this kind of work? We're a not-for-profit organisation, a community group comprising at least thirty local musicians.

Hello Megan, Have you been in touch with Andy's Van? He does all sorts of work and is a very nice man! This is probably right up his street. He's very reasonable rate-wise, and would certainly be a lot cheaper than a removal company I'm sure. his number is 07917011765. We've used him for all sorts of little jobs and he's always been by far the easiest option when you don't have your own van!
