My view is that there should be an instruction that all phones should be turned off during classes and anyone who fails to do so gets their phones confiscated for the day. I had various things confiscated.....some of which never got returned at all!

No need to worry at all. I am far from dangerous You are getting paranoid,but if you start threads then expect responses. It would be more constructive if you at least argued your corner or conceded some ground or whatever is applicable rather than disappearing and then starting the same subject under a different guise. I am always more likely to respond to posts that I disagree with and yours often fit the bill. Thats how Forums work .

Cuttsie has started 3 or 4 threads related to the conflict but for some reason then chooses not to engage in any further discussion. Anyway back on topic. I have never experienced such a low in U.K. politics as we have seen over the last 5 years or so. Its been asuccession of disasters and unfulfilled promises and few people can say that the basics of society have improved under the Conservatives. Now there are rumours of further cuts in services to fund tax cuts (bribes) to the electorate. As the only challenger,Labour deserve their turn and I hope that some improvement results if they get a working majority. I am sick of the Parliamentary time taken up with the knockabout politics and the supposed institutional anti Semitism in the Labour Party is a myth. All parties are made up of individuals who have something in common in their core beliefs but also may have personal beliefs that do not accord with the Party line. Labour is no different in this regard to any other political party much as their critics would want to make some capital out of.

As spelled out by the moderator some people are apparently incapable of or unwilling to differentiate between criticism of some Israeli actions and the lazy label of “anti Semitism” What happened on Oct 7th was horrendous perpetrated by Hamas and now we have the horrendous response from the current Israeli right wing government. Both actions have no respect for humanity.

@TD I would be interested to know where your figure of “at least 8.50% “of those vaccinated suffered a serious reaction to the Covid vaccine. Around 42 million adults received the first vaccine roll out which would suggest that nearly half a million had a serious reaction. Such results would take some suppressing

So 30,000 Yellow card reports out of 3.5 million vaccinated = 0.85% Then look at the reported reactions which are mainly sore arms,cold or flu like symptoms lasting a couple of days. Pretty much as caused by any vaccine So all very emotive and dramatic but also sensational interpretations. That is not to say that there are a very few more serious reaction but as always ,compare the numbers with the loss of life and hospitalisation due to contracting the virus.

Apart from the men. If they are the virgins then the adverts might last longer

Of course it wouldn’t. Israel rightly or wrongly would still have pursued retribution or justice on the Hamas terrorists.

There are a number of Jewish MPs,and probably a few more candidates in the offing as many Conservative MPs are standing down. Are there any similar connections and reasons that you can see or have you said enough?
