  1. Righty'o I bumped into an old gym mate from sheffield at the degale/smith fight on saturday night, an one thing that made me think was his attitude towards SUFC! Up until this season he was an avid follower, but after speaking with him in liverpool he said I don't care about the blades we're s..t. To which I replied if we had taken that stance then we might not have a club to support. I've travelled from Salford to watch the owls for over 15 years, he only lives a 20 minute drive from the ground. Anyway I told him to stop being so childish, he's been full of it over the last few years. How many so called blades have now returned to their roles as sing when were winning blades?
  2. Speed should accept the offer from Wales, jump ship while the lifeboats are still visable January could bring with it the sack, if the performances continue
  3. Just a quick update your packets (royal mail's term for parcels) could take up 2 weeks to arrive as the backlog is massive a piling up as we speak. Most of the DO's are not recieving anymore parcels until the backlog has cleared. Let me tell you brightside is full to the brim with shrouds full of packets Have patiance folks
  4. Tax evasion! I bet that's one of the reason McCabe has bolted.
  5. Crazy week blunts lose the best chairman to ever take over the reigns at the lane, then 2 days later the long running saga at s6 has finally ended Happy days
  6. Sign him up asap! Beevers hasn't impressed me this season, his postioning for set pieces is pathetic at times he also gets knocked about too much
  7. Another waste performance! Getting a bit regular this is, mates are in Spain watching Manure while I have just purchased tickets to Yeovil The misery is starting to set in now
  8. We need a win tonight, anything less will be a major headache for me.
  9. it's good if you're going with a few mates, who are waiting for tickets to.be released on general sale
  10. Good turnout tonight, went to the game with some mates from over the pennines and they proper enjoyed it! We even spoke to lee grant after the game, he was saying how much he owed to the wednesday fans for the support and well wishes he received. He said he will be watching the owls again in the near future, top bloke he is. @bigteeowl yes I agree with the assessment of the game, I also thought we looked far too relaxed with 20 mins remaining. Got tickets for the game sunday as a lad from our gym is fighting on the saturday night, so we have all got tickets for the game, if anyone is going down on the sat night and fancy a night watching some boxing I might be able to sort you some tickets out if your interested pm me Ps. I bet the pigs can't wait for us to lose so the threads can start, as my mother says jealously gets you nowhere Up the Owls
  11. Seen as crimbo is nearly 3 months away, let's enjoy being top of the league, we don't have much to shout about so let's milk it while we can
  12. Everytime I see Tevez score it makes me smile, did you see the game last night?
  13. Two wins so far without the pacey jj, can't knock that start to the season considering the pre season. I just hope we can get a result down in Essex at the weekend? Is anyone from the forum going down? I wouldn't mind it myself, but saving myself for the Plymouth game as I have family serving in the Navy, two 250 mile trips within 4 weeks will end in some serious anger within the four walls.
  14. Can't wait myself, coming over with a few mates all man city/man utd season ticket holders, then off to London for the charity sheild, big weekend of football Up the Owls
