  1. I have also been looking at these two models and I am undecided which to go for. I wouldn't use the GPS feature so the only benefit I can see to the TZ30 is the extra zoom. Have you decided which to go for yet? It seems that we have just missed out on the £35 Panasonic cash back : (
  2. Thanks but unfortunately that isn't an option at the moment. Anyone have any views on AUA or Photoguard?
  3. Thanks. Had a look on their website but don't fancy putting all my personal details in before they will give me a quote.
  4. Has anyone got any opinions on the above purely for amatuer use. AUA is about £6 cheaper than Photoguard.
  5. It's in the West One Complex just off West Street. There website is http://www.wigsandwarpaint.com and shows all the awards they have won. I don't work for them, just think they are really good!
  6. Wigs and Warpaint do training on Mondays and Tuesday - I have always been really pleased with the results. It's fully supervised too. Cuts are only £5 and I think colours start from £10/15
  7. Just about to take my new panasonic x900 on holiday for the first time. When I was researching which model to buy I seem to recall something about recording in either 1080p or 1080i as one would need to be converted but I can't remember any further detail than that! Can anyone advise me and/or give me any furher tips for using the camcorder.
  8. Has anyone been to this fireworks display before? I've been meaning to go for the last couple of years but always leave it too late as the tickets sell out early. As it's £12 each I was wondering if anyone on here would recommend it.
  9. An assumption of any of the rights of the owner amounts to an appropriation and as per s.6(1) "a person appropriating property belonging to another without meaning the other permanently to lose the thing itself is nevertheless to be regarded as having the intention of permanently depriving the other of it if his intention is to treat the thing as his own to dispose of regardless of the other’s rights".
  10. How does the police taking no further action mean that the driver has taken responsibility for his actions?
  11. Yes, as long as you are over the age of 14 (or are with an adult) you can go and listen to most cases in the Crown Court, unless the Court is sitting as 'Court as Chambers' which means it is not open to the public. Usually this is only for a small part of the case. If this is the case there will be a sign on the Courtroom door so you know not to enter. The public gallery is in different places in different Court rooms. In the smaller Courtrooms it is in the main body of the Court, whereas in the larger Courtrooms it is a balcony above the Court which you get to through a different entrance (signposted). If you go for around 10:30 that is when most Courts sit and there will be plenty of ushers to show you where to go. Also, you should note that the Courts don't sit between 1-2pm. At the moment there may not be too much of interest going on due to it being the Summer. When you go into the main Court building there are security arches and security officers who will ask to check inside your bag and use a scanning wand if you cause the alarm to go off (like at an airport). If you want to know anything else feel free to ask
  12. Did you look it up on Trip Advisor before you booked? http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g297555-d607469-Reviews-Gardenia_Plaza_Resort-Sharm_El_Sheikh_South_Sinai_Red_Sea_and_Sinai.html

  14. Had a fantastic morning at Supercars in the City today Is this something you will be running every year? I'd love the opportunity to be a passenger in one of the cars but didn't manage it today. I would add some photos if I knew how!
  15. They have one in Boots and Wilkinsons
  16. Recently purchased the new Panasonic X900. I understand from the internet that the battery lasts around 1 hour/1 hour 20 minutes. Considering getting a second battery but they are about £60 so wondering what people's opinions are. Thanks
  17. Well, rang Terrace Tailors on Thursday, told them that I needed the trousers shortening ASAP for a new job and they managed to fit me in even though they said it would usually have been next week. Picked them up 24 hours later on Friday and they had done a great job. Would certainly use them again and can definately recommend them.
  18. I have sucessfully added education details etc but when I try to add work/job to my profile it doesn't save! Any ideas?
  19. Thanks - I'll have to give them a ring. Does anyone know whether they can measure the length for you or whether you have to measure them yourself.
  20. Thanks. Do you know how much they charge and what their turnaround time is?
