  1. Phone Iphone Repair Sheffield on 07816 986679 or check out the website. You take the phone to his house (Woodhouse) and he will repair it for you. I needed a new charging port for my Iphone 4s. It took him 10 minutes!! An excellent service and cheap prices. I have just looked on the site and he is quoting £60 for Iphone 4S front screen if you take it to him or £68 for postal service
  2. 90 minutes for what?? As for taking fingerprints - fingerprints are not left on a surface unless its smooth and clean. If the weather was damp or it had rained since the offence any fingerprints would have gone and its almost a certainty that the offenders would be wearing gloves. The Officers at the scene would be aware of all of these factors and made a decision to call out the CSI or not.
  3. The dogs is looking good. Some good deals during Jan and Feb. And my retirement already planned thanks Thanks for the replies

Thanks
  5. Just been to Asda in chap. Lots of everything and no panic buying
  6. As a member of the emergency services who worked a night shift last night I would like to thank several members of public who at different times helped push my vehicle to help me keep going. As I'm working again tonight I will give an advanced thanks for you who will undoubtedly be doing it again. Thank you.
  7. Be careful out there - having just got in after working a night shift I can tell you that there are quite a few trees blown over onto roads. If the wind carries on like this im sure there will be more. I would suggest not parking your car under any swaying trees!!!
  8. Its in Darnall. Just off Woodbourn Rd. Been going all night.
  9. Of course you are covered if they get out of a door!! Just be careful. Make sure all doors and windows are shut and locked, dont leave any keys etc on view, dont leave your keys in the door and get a security light if you can. Burglars look for an easy target so make it tough. If they have to actually BREAK in, it makes a noise. They will look for an open window or use a pole to hook keys through a letter box.
  10. The BEST site for paintballing by far is Skirmish in Sherwood Forest. Near to Thoresby Market if you know where that is? Its been established for years and every year the site is worked on and improved. IT IS A GREAT SITE!
  11. Welcome Am from Notts, moved here just over 4 yrs ago for my job. Happy to stay and no plans to move back
  12. The response time will depend on how the RTC (no longer RTA) was graded. It will have been either an Immediate Response which gives officers 10 minutes to arrive or a Priority Response which allows an hour. If there were no injuries repoeted or no-one trapped it would almost certainly been a Priority. Therefore a 20 minute response is well within the response time. People moan about Police not being out on the streets and always in the Station doing paperwork and yet I see a reply on here saying that the Station is only 1 minute away and yet the yobs still got away. The Police cant win with some folk!! Firstly no-one knows if they did get away and secondly if all the Officers were out of the Station doing their patrols then it doesnt matter how close the incident was to the Station!
  13. I dont know. Im not saying that there was a crime being carried out. I was just saying that the posts on this thread were having a go at the police for the numbers turned up and they were carrying taser and pepper spray yet it doesnt actually say how many police were there and the police always carry these items. I also believe that the customs and excise and council officials will have organised this "raid" as it was a breach of there policies/rules/laws that will have been breached. The police will have been there on their requests.
