  1. I have been having moderate throat pain for the past 3 weeks which has triggered off pain in my mouth, ears, face, head, neck, shoulders and back, I Am also having abdominal pain and a lot of diarrhoea and I think I had a bit of blood on my stools earlier. I have already been referred to an ENT specialist and a Gastroentrologist but I could be waiting weeks or months to see them and my pain is now severe pararacetamol and painkillers are no longer working and My GP is doing nothing about it so I don't know where to go from here do I go to A&E? Or would it be a waste of time? Is there any chance they would admit me and do a Nasendoscopy or an Endoscopy? Thank you.
  2. I have been offered one of these for £200, It is a 1.8ghz with 2gb ram and a 250gb hard drive. How fast are these compared to dual core pc's? Cheers.
  3. I cut down my vodafone sim card to make it fit my iphone but the thing is i very very slightly cut into the gold part and it doesn't seem to be working. My sim card is a sim only contract from vodafone what can i do about this? Anyway of the vodafone store giving me a new sim card or doing something quickly to sort this out as i cannot use my phone now.
  4. I want to buy a phone from the Apple Store but i recently lost my driving licence photocard so i don't have any I.D apart from bank statements, utility bills etc etc. For some reason i have found out that you have to provide I.D for buying a sim free phone from there which is odd. Would my I.D be enough?
  5. Is the HTC Desire's camera and HD video really better than the Iphone 4? All the reviews i have read have said the opposite thing.
  6. Why is a Desire better? Please could you explain your reasons? The things i like about the Iphone 4 is the good camera, LED flash, very good HD video recording and good screen and OS.
  7. That's on contract though, I already have a 18 month sim only deal so i want the iphone sim free.
  8. I have been offered a new Iphone 3GS 8gb for £240, I am debating whether to get this or pay £500 for the Iphone 4, Opinions please.
  9. I know that MND affects around 5,000 people in the UK out of 65 million so it's quite a rare disease, Apparently the form of MND i am worried about accounts for 20% of all cases which means only 1,000 people in the UK have the PBP form of MND.
  10. I am very worried about having MND, I just don't want to appear loony to the doctor but i am going to have to mention it at my next appointment. Nope no diagnosis at all probably because they don't know.
  11. No i didn't mention MND, They might think i am stupid for suggesting it as it's rare in people my age, I haven't been given any diagnosis for my symptoms.
  12. Yes it was a GP, I think they said i have no Neurological Symptoms so they haven't referred me.
  13. I had another mini exam by another doctor who checked a few things in the upper part of my body. I have been getting constant twitching in my bottom lip which is really worrying me, My arms and legs feel weak, Eating and chewing seems slow and a little difficult, Swallowing feels difficult and there's always a lump in the throat. I get neck pain, pains in my knees, elbows, Twitching in random places, Tingling in my tongue, lips, face, arms, legs etc. Pins and needles in my hands and feet. I am terrified of the thought of maybe having Motor Neurone Disease.
  14. Dying, Also i am scared of getting some horrible wasting disease or getting something like Dementia and not knowing who anyone is.
  15. I do hope more than anything else that it isn't the PBP form of MND or any other form of MND for that matter, Despite being only 29 that doesn't mean i cannot get it even though from what i have read most people who develop it are over 40 and usually between 50 and 70. Apparently, 2 people out of every 100,000 every year get diagnosed with MND, The PBP form of MND accounts for 20-25% of all cases, I wonder what my chances of getting MND actually are? I know people in their 20's can develop it but that's pretty rare. I'd only want my GP to refer me if they thought i actually had a problem or suspected i had a Neurological Disease. I would rather have Multiple Sclerosis than MND and that's saying something.
