Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary!  8.30pm, free entry.  Wednesday 7th March: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize.  Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner.  9pm, 50p entry Thursday 8th March: Jam Night 4 year anniversary special of this wonderful Jam Night!  Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield.  Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more.  Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in.  8.30pm, free entry  Friday 9th March: The Carnival Sheffield's answer to a question Bono never asked. If you like beer, loud music, bad language and an awesome night out get y'selves to a Carnival gig whenever possible. It's a cure for the working week.  5 albums, 1 E.P. and many, many jaunts around the world later they're still here doing what they do best, playing loud rock/blues and having fun.  9.30pm, free entry  Saturday 10th March: The Steve French Band Back with the original line up for the first time in six years!  Blues guitar maestro Steve French takes you on whirlwind tour to hear the immortal licks of guitar legends from all over the world - all in one night.  Steve's powerful, yet soulful playing reflects his passion for the music. His wide-ranging musical influences extend from Jimi Hendrix to Freddie King.  "Hendrix, Vaughan, power and passion....a Stratocaster hero in the Blues tradition" ~ The Star  9.30pm, free entry  Sunday 11th March: The Sunday Jam Session The Sunday afternoon rock jam is back once again - 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
