Hes a cowboy love who knows naff all about chimneys or anything else to do with the building trade.Did you get a signed receipt off him if not dont waste time chasing him get someone to take them off use them for your strawberries next year and have some open top pots put on. the heat off the fire drys out your stack. -
could as said be a problem with porous bricks which is easily fixed with a damp proofing cream which is guaranteed for 20yrs but also do you actually no that the work done before has been done properly if not you could be chasing your own tail.

Advice following a lintel replacement

If it was supported correctly there should be no movement in the floor level you are correct in wanting it rectified. -
A very nice area to bring up a family.

You dont need a sign but you do and should want a 1/2 hr rated fire door at least.

I have been in the position of owning a lease through punch and we made a success of it but the more we did the more we were hammered by punch far from supporting us and trying to keep the momentum going all they did was hike our rent and beer targets till we had no option but to leave. It ended up costing me 70k and im still trying to recover 7yrs on.The goverment are to blame for creating pubcos if the had left the breweries alone it would be a whole different picture now.
