I'll bet a decent solicitor will tell him the same as I have,the 2 year ruling is a different kettle of fish to someone who has passed that.If the court didnt inform him at the time of sentencing they are in the wrong.I got done on an sp30 and fought it and lost I was fined and pointed and dismissed,as i left the court I was called back and told that they had forgot to charge me costs,I refused to go back in the box and after a argument which involved collaring a solicitor I walked out with no costs ,for the simple reason I had already been dismissed by the magistrate.Sometimes the intricacies of British Law is wonderful. My first action in the OP's case would be to get all the paperwork together regarding the sentencing check it out and if there is no ruling regarding a retest contact a solicitor on a green form for advice,that way it will not cost him anything

I would have thought that you should have been told at the sentencing that you would have to take your retest,if that was not the case then by law they havent a leg to stand on

did you get done for driving under the influencE of alcohol or drugs ,again I believe the same criteria can now apply,If it was just on totting up alone I have no answer

How long ago did you pass your test? I believe ,I may be wrong,that if you are disqualified in the two year ruling on new drivers you do have to retake your driving test

There will be no civil war here,simply because the majority of our people are being brainwashed and are in denial.The first thing we are taught when we start school is to say yes sir,no sir ,we are taught to be subservient from day one and being a long established civilised country that follows us all the way throughout our school life and then into our working life. Its OK harping on about generalizing but like always tends to stick to like East is East etc.I know its a trite example but take a couple of sporting events to illustrate the point..Amir Khan fights John smith..both British one a third or fourth generation immigrant fron Pakistan the other is a,for want of a better phrase,dyed in the wool englishman and England play Pakistan at cricket at Lords,take a look around at the spectators and notice how many British supporters are flying Pakistani flags.usually they outnumber the Union Jack,why is that..pretty obvious if you think about it.And Im certain the same will occur if it ever comes to the choice of religions ,the muslims will automatically follow the Islam banner,no matter what

Just because 99% seem to be decent it doesnt mean they are,you cant see inside a persons mind so what appears on the outside maybe not what it seems and if its only 1%,as people claim,I will come out now and say that figure is a downright lie,maybe in the UK a figure like that may be viable but worldwide when you consider the acts perpetrated against humanity in countries like Saudi etc I think that figure is way off the mark..
