When I was out on my Bday bashed the DJ announced that Lemar, Girls Alous and Jamelia where all booked & paid for to come to Liquid just that they couldn't confirmed the dates yet.

Liquid is amazing as far as these "Superclubs" go - it become my regular Friday night spot and I can't fault the place I love it! There's something for everyone there, drinks prices are ok for a club & they do have offers on, good quality of tuneage - I mean you don't hear Underworld's "Born slippy" or Proidgy's "Firestarter" in Mingdom of Gatecrasher One do ya? At least they're making the effort with PA too (Girls Aloud & Lemar) instead of some has-been who used to be in Eastenders that you get in Mingdom. Dave something you do do is put on a Bus serivce from Sheffield city centre to Liquid lilike Club Wow used to do in it's Hay Day. It'll create more custom for you and the club itself

No I didn't not on friday night.

I went into Rotherham last night and I loved it, I even had my birthday bash in Rotherham two weeks ago. I've seem to have boycotted Sheffield nightlife for Rotherham & I've got to admit Rotherham wins hands down. Liquid & Diva is better than any club in Sheffield and put your mingom's & Chavcrasher One to great shame. Underground is the sight of a Church when you go in lol but I feel much safer going there than other Speed Garage Venue in Sheffield (Ie: Niche, Stone House etc) Most of Rotherham bars open till late (Millianos, Millenium, Zeppas) It's the same price in a taxi for me from Rotherham as it would be coming from Sheffield Some quality totty in Liquid & Diva Plenty of bars to cater for all & plenty of take-away's too

Leadmill is £13 on NYE and if it was as good as Xmas eve then should be a top night.

The main room is commerical dance, they try & throw in a bit of house music too. Kingdom Live is your cheesey room & the third room is R'n'B It's ok but no where hear as good as the last time you went

I wouldn't go in A) it's not my sort of place and B) a friend of mine went in and within the first half an hour of walking in Niche he was offer Cocaine, E's, Heroin etc - if that happened tyo me I would freak out!

It's just been on Look North. Tony Blair, David Blunkett and loads of coppers are there because of Berlins (Sorry Purple's) success being the most secure bar and their new policy on under-age drinkers - Yep the place is being reckonised for something it's been nortorious for doing exailty the oppsite for years. I went in (I'm ashamed to say) about 6 months ago and it's very much a paint job, same sticky carpets, dodgy smell, it even still says 'Berlins' on the dancefloor railings. These days they always a que as they're asking folk for ID - that's really about it.

I heard that they've lost their late licence and the owers are trying to look for someone to buy the place

I've been to the one in Rotherham a few times - they play far too much Aerosmith in there I had no idea there was one in Sheffield unless you're talking about the one in Rotherham

I know a mate of mine who loves Happy Mondays. He'll cream his boxers about this lol

Actually It's owned by Luminar Leisure Limited (same company that own Ikon in Wakefield & Majestic in Leeds) and not Broke leisure
