yes. it is. what a selfish thing to do though. if you want to kill yourself then surely there are ways to do it which don't put innocent people's lives in danger. she doesn't have seemed to have caused a knock on crash but how i don't know. rush hour on that stretch is so busy. it could easily have been a 20 car pile up with dozens dead. -

One of our hens has been broody for about 6 weeks. i'm thinking that she might not be broody now but ill. She went broody last September but it only lasted about 3 weeks. She sits all day on the other hens' eggs and when we turn her out of the coop she goes straight back in. Her feathers are scruffy and her comb and face is really pale and her comb is cracking and droopy. She doesn't look good at all. How can we get past this broodiness, if it is brooding. And if not...what else could it be ? She is about 12 months old now. Our other 3 hens are unaffected and still laying. We've noticed also that sitting on the eggs all day is making them smell fishy. Can anyone suggest what we can do. Thanks

We do all our shopping at the supermarket - just struck me my daughter is growing up without knowing what a greengrocers is...or a butchers...or a florist...or a bakers. My daughter thinks carrots come from Asda at Chapeltown. Does anyone feel the same?

Drove up Halifax Road tonight and saw biggest house ever near junction with Burncross Road. On the LEFT going out of town. Guess you can only see it cos it's winter through the trees. Don't know how i've missed it before really. It's gotta be the biggest house in Sheffield. Has anyone else noticed it?
