  1. Hi, as potential project for my Masters in photography I am looking for people that do potentially interesting jobs or crafts. The more niche the better. For example things like Beer Barrel makers, stained glass window makers, hand made rocking horses. that sort of thing. Also anyone that might craft with strange materials or places doing old fashioned crafts. Thanks for any help. Cheers!
  2. We're just in the process of buying our first house in Heeley. The area itself is ok, not much going on, but for us it was a good location with easy access to Abbeydale Rd/London Rd and only 20min walk into town or the train station. We did a lot of research and spoke to a friends that were in the business and Heeley was one of the fastest growing areas for house prices in Sheffield. The prices are still relatively low at the moment, but will increase over the next few years. I would definitely suggest looking towards the town end near Queens Rd.
  3. Hi Guys, My house was burgled last night and almost my entire photographic kit was stolen. Being a freelance photographer that has messed me right up. 4. I am still going to be travelling to North Africa and holidaying where ever I please. I am not going to let some isolated events stop me from enjoying the world. I find it strange that people refer to the so called "Cultural Vacuum" as being a negative thing, when many of the same people will complain about the lack of old fashioned british values. I have travelled extensively throughout North Africa and the Middle East and I find it refreshing to hear people talk about their ideologies and beliefs with such passion. There is also generally a strong family and community bond. I'm not denying that there are parts of the world that take things to the extreme, and ISIS and the like should be eradicated from the earth, but to tarnish all muslim people and communities with the same brush is wrong. I have met more multi-cultural and adaptable muslims, than I have non. Preserving culture is not a bad thing, whether it be Abrabic, French, Spanish or English.
  5. We got enough hate on the streets without religious loonies spouting their nonsense.
  6. I have recently moved to Sheffield and would like to get back into playing football. I am 31 and my fitness is pretty shocking at the moment. I haven't played properly for about 6 years, but my level was pretty solid back then. I am just really looking for a kick about or some low level 5-7 aside stuff.
  7. I am looking for an Adult class in either Arabic or Turkish. Does anyone know of any in the Sheffield area?
