  1. Hi, Myself and a few other Quidco colleagues are going to run 100 miles between us in 24 hours on the 21st April on a treadmill in the Sheffield Quidco office. This will not be an easy task and will also mean staying overnight at work! To put it into perspective that is the distance from London to Calais or just under four marathons. We are doing this for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice - it's worthy cause. If would like to support us we have a just giving link: http://www.justgiving.com/quidco-com You can find more information on Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and the great work they do here: http://www.bluebellwood.org/ Any donations would greatly appreciated Thanks for your time Jamie
  2. theres been a load of gypsies around Walkley this last week too. Weve had two alloy wheels stolen from the back of our house on Industry Street and our neighbour caught them trying to nick the grate around the base of the tree outside our house! Weve also had those kids with buckets round, 3 times on Saturday asking if we wanted our car washing. Dodgy as!
  3. I moved into Walkley last week and and I love it. I have however noticed a lot of groups of young lads walking around drinking in the day, im hoping this is coinciding with the school holidays but Im not sure this lot would even go to School anyway. Had one unerving incident on Friday, a crazy guy with dreadlocks trying to open my cab door whilst driving up the road and then banging on the back window. Not sure what that was about! Ive sen him walking around a fair bit. Does anyone know anything about this guy? He seemed pretty wired. Apart from that I cant fault it.
  4. I see a guy and sometimes his mate every morning on west street and then heading down to Division Street on quads. They are stupidly loud. Really annoys me. There must be a law against it.
  5. Went today and had the gammon. Was very nice. The rest of the menu looks great too. Ill be back
  6. Crazy european laws. No it was about £100 cheaper for a vehicle under that size
  7. New cod on the block. No contest. The Broomhill friery has gone way down hill since they left and took up shop there. What's all those pictures of Sean Bean doing on the walls, its ridiculous!
  8. They do look cool! Cant justify the £700 for six days price tag though! Thats way too much. Cheers for the ideas, keep em coming
  9. Cheers for the suggestion. Looking more a campervan rather than motorhome. Needs to be under 2.4m high and 5m long to get on the ferry! Most places doing vws dont let you take them to France
  10. Hey, Me and three friends are looking to rent a camper van to take to France for five nights in June. Looking for somewhere near Sheffield hopefully but could travel to get one. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers
  11. His name was Alex if I remember right. He was awesome! Working the crowd like a pro and sang it word for word. Loved the whole thing, best live band ive ever seen.
  12. Some scrotum stole my wallet in there. Never again
  13. I especially enjoyed it when the singer from Raygun fell off the stage. It was was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Epic fail
