  1. My wife and I are considering it. We already have a little boy (from my wifes previous marriage), and are having issues conceiving. We don't see it as a consolation option however. Since getting together, our plan was to have loads of kids, and to adopt / foster as well. We would prefer a baby / small child as we feel that there would be less integration issues, but ultimately being able to offer someone a loving home is enough for us.
  2. @ Munky This is correct. One light normally indicates partial overheating, or too much stuff plugged in to the USB, meaning that the system has less power to work with.
  3. My son telling me I am the best daddy in the world, simply for buying him a DVD, and when he got back from his grandparents, sitting him down in front of it with a drink and his PJ's.
  4. I should point out that our son is 5, not all grown up and stuff
  5. Having a lie in with my beautiful lady, and our son getting in with us, all cuddles, warmth and peace and quiet.
  6. My son has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers, and although he is for the most part "normal", he does have his moments. I have learned to ignore the peoples comments, and just different ways to calm him down. For example, if we are going somewhere, we explain to him exactly where we are going and which route, otherwise he will get upset as he wasnt expecting what we do. If he has a tantrum in public, I pick him up, give him a hug and talk to him like an adult. He calms right down and is back to his good old self soon enough. I know that life will be hard for him with ignorance, prejudice and idiocy, but as long as he knows that me and his mum are here for him, hopefully he can do anything that he wants to do. I wouldn't change him, because then he wouldn't be exactly who he is.
  7. Hi everyone. After two and a bit weeks recording our album, Nil Satis are wanting to have a pop at this. I'm not asking for you to vote (unless you like us), but please visit http://www.roadtov.com/profile/50642 and give us feedback. And don't forget to rate us if you do like us! Ps, anyone wanting some songs, pm me your email address.
  8. I know some (Rotherham) bus drivers, and they are sound, always happy to help and with the patience of saints. I have made numerous complaints to First over the last three years where I have found the service unacceptable, and been fobbed off each time. I am grateful for the service that I receive, but I just wish that it didn't cost so much for an inconsistant and poor service. The prices keep going up, and the buses keep getting later or not turning up at all. It has got so bad, that I now get a taxi to work when I am on earlies and home when I am on lates, just to ensure that I do get to my destination on time and in one piece. MrBusDriver, why so defensive? Do you feel that you need to be? People aren't attacking you personally (or are they?) but merely the substandard service that the majority of us as public transport **customers** receive. And there you are, that magical word, Customers. The people that pay for what you sell, and therefore keep you in a job. I have worked in customer services for 8 years until recently, and even though some people can be real doughnuts and demand more than is reasonably possible, all we ask as customers is a service that is on time and without any sort of attitude. I'm happy to pay the price that I pay now for my monthly pass, as long as the service improves. You may have bad days, but we all do. Sorry for the length, but I had a few things to get off my chest, lol.
  9. 9 crimes is a cracking song. Also, sad song by oasis, and waiting for my real life to begin by colin hays. Seriously, check out colin hays. I nearly read part of that song at my grandfathers funeral.
  10. Also an ex employee, and the level of support is laughable. Their store staff mislead and misinform customers, sell stuff that isnt required (told an acquaintance that AVG will not work on their machine, and sold them Norton 360 at top whack price). I only go in to look at the seriously reduced stuff, or to ask questions that I already know the answer to, just to see what rubbish they advise in return. In fact, there used to be a website about people that did this, and they posted the stupid responses.
  11. TBH, I quite enjoy it there. My housemate, partner and friends also agree. I echo the comment, make your own mind up.
