How many uninsured car drivers are out there despite it being a legal requirement? Also cycle insurance can be obtained from about £10 a year. That to me would suggested it is not a high claim rate for the insurance companies to pay out on.

Would definitely concur with this. It also puts you more at risk if you are hugging the kerb due to potential obstacles etc. Lets hope SYP will be adopting this in the near future.

This is so true. I'm able bodied and find it frustrating let alone someone who may have a disability. Sports Direct is another place that makes me wonder, they have so many racks and shelves around the store it is almost impossible to pass at the best of times.

I'm not sure what you are correcting me on? Are you saying that they are not bus lanes full stop or not bus lanes outside of the restricted hours? If its the later then that is kind of my point. People seemed have developed a fear of using a time restricted bus lane even when they are allowed to do so. Although I would still say it is a bus lane.

unless its outside the restricted times, then please do use them to avoid creating more traffic in one lane.

Does anyone know how long the canal path is closed for. It was closed this morning at the lock near the Blackburn meadows nature trail. No sign or anything to say it was going to be closed.
