We are for adults only so 18 and above. We have members in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and even a couple into their 70s. Our average age is approx in the 40s.

You are invited to a night of fun, sleuthing, and networking with a twist, as Spice Yorkshire host a special murder mystery evening. Thinks Pirates of the Caribbean as you and your team are tasked with solving the dastardly murder of Captain Crooke. FREE & Open to all who are interested in doing something a little bit different. (OVER 18s ONLY!) Cavells, 31 High Street, Sheffield, S1 2GA Wednesday 29th February 8.00pm - 10.30pm It’s all about following clues and catching the killer, so enjoy your complimentary pirate themed cocktail and exercise your inner Sherlock Holmes… FURTHER INFORMATION: ‘Avast, me hearties! Diamond White, a 17th century galleon belonging to Captain Crooke, has just returned from its adventures, laden with precious treasures. Celebrations, however, have been sadly cut short. When the Captain’s wife returned to their room at the Ship’s Inn she found her husband had been stabbed through the heart with his very own hook! It would seem that the late Captain was not as respected as he thought. The big question is who hooked the crook?? You will be matched into teams and tasked with solving this dastardly murder. We’ll need a few volunteers on the night to read sections of script out – no acting skills required. As a team you have been given the responsibility of solving the mystery which will be acted out in front of you. Spice is the UK’s largest adventure, social and leisure group. Established in 1981, it has ten thousand members nationwide, over a hundred events a month, and at least one of those every single weekday. It is a very casual evening and everyone is welcome – those who are thinking of joining and those who have just joined, but want to find out a little more. If you feel a little uneasy turning up on your own then please feel free to bring along a friend. There's no need to book this - just turn up in good time!
