Thanks Rain for that. I'm waiting for a visit from them for (i presume) an assessment to see if we are suitable. If and when we get one i'll certainly put details up. Apparantly its emergency temporary foster carers they really need but i need to find out more details when we get a visit.

We are thinking about becoming tempory foster carers for a dog rescue, we have 2 dogs of our own. How does everyone suggest is the best way to intergrate the new dog into the household. for example, meeting the new dog on the field near by so they can all walk into the house together. Any suggestions please. thanks

Yes my son had his medal mounted there last year and did a really good job It took about a week if i remember correctly and didnt cost a great deal. He also gave him some sort of valuation for insurance purposes (not that a medal could ever be replaced!! ) I would imagine he might be quite busy around Remembrance Day though so don`t leave it too late just in case.

One of my dogs behaviour improved about 70% when i changed her from a complete food like bakers / pedigree to a raw diet. Within a few weeks the majority of her aggression and hyperactivity had gone. I agree with Evie that some of the change could be due to a combination of training and different diet. I found the main thing was though that once her behaviour had changed a bit, it was easier to train her.

My son sent his xbox back just before xmas. It was out of warranty but they extended the warranty for the 3 red lights thingy. Xbox Customer Support Service sent via email a label with a reference numbers on, we had to package it up without the Hard Drive, cables, battery, discs etc and i made arrangements with UPS to collect from our house. We only had a day or two to wait for collection it actually went to Germany (i think) . He had it back within a week and has had no problems so far.

I swopped Ferret cuddles for chicken carcasses. I got a great deal. Also have fallen in love with the bearded dragon. absolutely gorgeous
