The Catholic Church is and has been (for many many years) hopelessly out of touch on this and other issues, such as abortion. Yes, these matters aren't straightforward but it's about giving people as many protections/solutions etc as possible to protect themselves and others..... The Catholic Church's stance on the use of condoms etc etc is partly why there are so many lapsed Catholics....including me...... Now....where's that Brian?!?!?......."he's not the Messiah....he's a very naughty boy....."

I thought that Chelsea were/are the new Man U...in terms of their money and the expectation that they would win the league etc....just as the media/Man U fans used to say about Man U......and the dislike (nee hatred) that that bred amongst some..... Congrats Mucha. I bought my car (only a Clio) out of the Sheffield Star - could be worth a look as there's usually a few in the price bracket you're looking at. Always worth taking someone along to look the car over etc, just in case.......

Haven't been in the Hadfield in a while but didn't use to do any decent beer but was clean enough etc. Agree with comments re: Beer Engine but generally the Hallamshire and Closed Shop are okay. The Cobden View is the best pub round there for me, large enough to get a good few people but retains the intimate feel, and serves decent range of beers and drinks. That end of Walkley is much better than the South Road end, although there are one or two okay pubs on the back streets such as the Princess Royal and Heavygate.

I can't do the 24th Feb (as said previously) and I'll be in New York the following week.... Tuesdays and Wednesdays can also be a bit difficult for me, although the 7th and 8th of Feb are doable....

I'm up for another match but don't think I can make the 24th. Also, I don't think Liencam can make the 24th either (although he'll confirm). Not sure about Preacher Man..... Abbeydale pitches are okay but the Uni pitch - being nearer "town" and depending on numbers - might be better....
