  1. Does anyone own any RC devices and fancy a group day out on the Rotherham old Hall BMX track for RC car racing and bashing? Or maybe another place?
  2. Nitroflight models ltd Rotherham http://www.nitroflight.com/ These guys do soldering work on week days. Check them out.
  3. I have 5 internet tabs open right now :-) Sometimes, all of my screens are full!I got 3x 1440p Acer predator monitors and my top centre 1080p Samsung screen is just for HWiNFO64.
  4. Thank you for sharing. I love trying out new operating systems. I will try this one :-). Thank you for the manual upload too.
  5. For this time of day; Tesco Extra (Rotherham) is open till 12am. They sell blank DVD dual layers. Check out Verbatim DVD+R DL they have a higher capacity and longevity than common blank DVD DL. They can also take a few scratches. With a blank Verbatim DVD+R DL; You will be able to get 8.7GB on disc when using a Sony Optiarc 5280S-CB-PLUS DVD writer drive.
  6. Buy it online and get the best IMHO. Use Kryonaut thermal grizzly paste (12.5K/mk) for a long lasting effect or use Phobya NanoGrease Extreme (16W/mk version) for a slightly better performance than the Kryonaut. Or go all out! and apply Thermal Grizzly conductonaut liquid metal. But beware! you can not apply liquid metal on aluminium heat sinks. It is also electrically conductive, so make a (low density) foam barrier.
  7. Hi, I need help please. Google doesn't even know the answer... Has anyone tried using 3x M.2 NVME SSD drives in RAID0 (or 5) on a laptop? If so; Does it effect battery life? I know it has lower temps because the work load is separated evenly to each drive. Which is good for drive life and to stop thermal throttling. But I'm wondering about the juice it will drink. I'm thinking of RAID0 on 3x 2TB Samsung 960 Pro NVME SSD's, but I don't want to erase any drives yet until I know the benefits. Thank you.
  8. I'm the chip shop king. I have tried every chippy in south Yorkshire. A real chip shop only sells cod. It must state "cod" as some will sell you catfish or whiting fish. The batter must have beer in it to create that golden crispy texture. Thats British tradition. It must be fried in peanut oil too. This is why I only go to seven seas in Rotherham. It costs around £10 for a portion, but it's well worth it. All these new chip shops use either vegetable fat or lard. These are cheap and unhealthy alternatives to higher grade frying oils. You also must check if it is cod not some other fish. Yes I know that beer for batter maybe harram, or a sin or not Kosher but it's the proper way. Read up about it. Try seven seas too and you will understand ?
  9. How much quieter? and how much are you willing to spend? There is so much methods you see: Cleaning a PC is cheap. Normal re-paste for the CPU and Under-volting the CPU and stress testing will cost a tad more (depending if your motherboard supports this). Then theres: Deliding your CPU and replacing the CPU IHS with a .925 silver IHS lid, and putting thermal grizzly liquid metal on the CPU die, Silver IHS lid and heatsink while having a protective barrier, and replacing the thermal pads for the GPU with AlphaCool 17W/mk thermal pads will cost a lot more than a standard procedure. Or maybe go next level and have a fan-less heatsink riding a bareback CPU die (intel only) without the normal/silver IHS lid, with some quite Varder fans with rubber washers and internal sound insolation foam. There is so many options you see. It can cost you anywhere between £40 to £800. If you only want to spend under a £100 then go to a local computer shop. If you want hi-tec then find a geek pal ;-) I hope this helps.
  10. OOhhh that's proper food. I wish I were you. Swordfish would be a bonus too. You got the internet for that. Its like a virtual library Why should I go back and forth here all day. Which I do not have the time, sorry. I been teaching all day. Some quick crap sources which I can also dig up from the internet: https://realtruth.org/articles/090806-002-science.html P.S Cambridge university have good lectures on this matter too. Go and join. Its like the Lycopene theory. Learning SF about how the education system was created; will take up to 5000 words! at least. And then, that will probably tell you how Wiki labelled Humans in the Animalia kingdom. And it does not have anything to do with Animalia book that was written by Graeme Base. I hope I did not offend you. Peace out!
  11. That's some freaky <removed> Thank you for the link. I never heard of this before.
  12. "However, in animal studies, peanut oil has been shown to clog arteries, and this would increase the risk for heart disease." We are not animals. And where is your sources? Monounsaturated fats are good for you. You can always try rapeseed or olive oil as a substitute. I normally get a lot of patients like you. Its something that I have to accept! Enjoy your local CHIPPY....M8 P.S its "beats" NOT "beets"....mate
  13. Peanut oil is more healthier and it makes the batter more crispy. Its more expensive, but it is worth it (£8.75 for small cod & chips). Animal fats mixed with fish is not right, only to commoners it is. The English tradition is peanut oil. Its greedy profit takers that have introduced cobbler fish, whitefish, and catfish fried in low cost fats like palm fat, vegetable fat, or animal fat. Its all about ripeseed and peanut oil now. Seven Seas Chip Shop has won awards. They also have a state of the art fryers. They cook the chips and cod separately to avoid taste clashing and customers who are on a nightshade diet.
  14. BEST CHIPPY IN ENGLAND SEVEN SEAS WICKERSLEY ROTHERHAM Cooked in peanut oil. Real cod, NOT cat/white fish like other chip shops. Try it
