  1. Credit were its due, Sensoria the Sheffield music and film festival has got Laurie Anderson with a gig and a talk on her music and art the day before. I am a big fan and hope its well supported. As artist she used multi-media, back projection, tape bow violins and other electronic devices years before these things became common. Her voice is amazing, with a mixture of music and stories(she has recorded with Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed to whom she is married and a string of other musicians). Laurie Anderson is one of the foremost observers of modern American culture and a unique talent. The talk is this Friday 20th at the Upper Chapel on Norfolk Street @ 7.30pm, and the gig at Sheffield City Hall on Saturday 21st @ 8pm. http://2012.sensoria.org.uk/featured...a-uk-premiere/http://2012.sensoria.org.uk/featured...a-uk-premiere/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhOvrVUoJoY&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMB3QlyJbA4
