  1. That's so bad, it's good! (if that makes any sense)
  2. I'm having the new 'Padorian' calendars made up now! Great idea. Honest
  3. Was 3 faults, no matter how minor - around the mid to late 70's?. I think you could request a retest on a part if you asked the tester (knowing you made a mistake) As I said, a long time ago. So probably wrong! 15 mistakes does explain some of the horrendous driving I see on the roads though. I consider myself, or I'm considered a boring driver now. I stick to speed limits, indicate and give way...you know, the normal stuff. Or is it called 'The right way'?
  4. I once went in Wilsons (The production part) I don't have a clue how those people worked in there. I couldn't breath! I'm sure it was something they just got used to, and very much doubt if it's the same now, with new H&S rules. I went in there decades ago (maybe 2?) Definitely a menthol/mint smell, and the air was thick with the dust. Never tried snuff. And I'm surprised it's still a thing. It may be addictive if it's a tobacco product (I didn't know it was tobacco either)
  5. Thank you Mr. Padders. Glad to see you haven't lost your sense of humour. (Apologies for the lowercase 'P' in my first reply)
  6. I think padders got ripped to bits by a 'small man' in ASDA, and decided to write a very funny story to ease his humiliation. Come on padders...admit it. You got mouthy and the little bloke leathered you didn't he? 😂
  7. IMO, it pure deflection tactics by SCC to divert gullible eyes away from their glaring mistakes. I won't say they aren't trying to sort things, as I think they are. But while ever inexperienced people are making the big (bad) decisions, a lot more money will be wasted, and more, much needed services will be lost. Sort schools, sort council housing and repairs out properly before you're that bored, you come up with a great idea on banning things on a sign! There seem to be a lot of those eyes on here. But it's a forum, they are just as much entitled to their opinion as I am. Agree to disagree etc.
  8. Oh dear... With all the problems Sheffield has, SCC want to ban burger signs and the likes? Just jumping on the 'climate' bandwagon again. Pathetic!

    Handedness

I'm right handed, fork in left hand. I don't give a toss about the proper way, and wouldn't have a clue if they stuck loads of knives and forks in front of me (Those meals posh folk have) I don't see a right and wrong way. It's what way you enjoy your meal, and which way round you feel best to 'shovel' thi food in't gob

    Paypal

No problems here. I know they got a bit picky on what you could buy via Paypal, other than that, it's very good. They went to 2FA. Did you set that up? It might be worth logging on to https://www.paypal.com and check your settings/info.
  11. That's a shame. It was always a thought that I'd like to buy/rent and live on one...one day. I was talking to a bloke that volunteers at the small dock near Greenland Road. The numbers he was talking to buy one were eye watering. Then the cost you mention...I think I'll leave it as 'a thought'
  12. I don't know. It's not a club I've been in for a long time.
  13. At one time it did...a good few years ago. As a kid, my aunty lived on Queen Mary Rd. I think there was 4 clubs on City Rd? A sign of the times in both money and what people prefer for a day/night out. Social clubs aren't for everyone.
  14. I believe so. Plenty of 'maybe's' about what will be done with it. Only my opinion, I think it's had its day as a club or pub.
