  1. A lot of scaremongering going on here, you definitely won't be sent to prison for NOT BEING ABLE TO pay a debt. If the debt is substantial and there's really no paying it back then you should file for bankruptcy, which covers council tax debt/arrears.
  2. Lmao this is such a pointless thread. Obviously the answer is it depends, some men suit beards, some don't and some women prefer beards on men, some don't.
  3. Tbh with you abolishing the monarchy will do sweet f-a to promote a fairer society, the royal family for the most part add a lot to the country and economy.
  4. You can advertise on numerous Facebook groups, on community notice boards, there tends to be community boards in Tescos and the like, libraries too, ask at their reception regarding putting a poster up on their boards. It's also a good idea to get leaflets made and hand them out in town. It'd be best to do all of them to achieve a continual amount of customers. Might be a good idea to hire someone to sort all this out for you/to assist you with it all, feel free to PM if you want more advice etc.
  5. Four years on and you're bumping this thread/still moaning about the same very trivial thing lol let me guess, you're no fun at parties.
  6. Most I've walked is three, I wouldn't go higher than that to be honest unless I was to team up with another walker, I like to give a personal/more playful walk which is a lot harder when you're just one person with many dogs. ---------- Post added 20-10-2015 at 20:29 ---------- As for insurance, yes you do need it, it's more of a worst case thing so you're covered in case something does happen, most people won't end up claiming but it's like all insurance, worst cases and all.
  7. I've heard about Pet Boarding places doing that but Pet Sitters who look after the pets in the clients own home are also house sitting too so wouldn't do this, never heard of a Pet Sitter doing that. The client specifically gives the sitter a key to their house after all so giving that key to someone else would be the worst thing you could do. ---------- Post added 19-10-2015 at 19:26 ---------- And a Pet/House sitter outright taking the Pet from its home after being specifically asked to Pet Sit at the clients home, that's tantamount to abuse/theft to be honest, if I was a client and a sitter did that I'd make sure that person never worked with animals again. ---------- Post added 19-10-2015 at 19:32 ---------- But yeah moral is, make sure you ask for references and air on the side of caution, make sure you pick someone who's not going to treat the pet like a piece of meat and is sitting more because they are an animal/dog lover as opposed to just in it for the money/business.
  8. Why avoid national pet sitter websites ruby? Not that I've come across many after searching or researched sites like that. But yeah if I was the OP and looking for a dog sitter I'd probably go for personal adverts etc/sites like this anyway.
  9. Yeah full time pet sitters will have their diary open so if you're looking for a booking far in advance go with sitters like teeny
  10. Thanks for your message, I actually used Protraining this weekend I found a discount code for it too which made it very good value for money, pretty comprehensive and I opted in for video updates too. So I highly recommend them to anyone who comes aross/reads this post!
  11. Hi, I do this (Check my signature), although next August is too far away to make a definite booking, but feel free to enquire anyway Regards Alex
  12. Yeah very true, I'll get one done sooner or later after researching it more, from what I have read an individual can apply for a basic disclosure/a basic DBS but not an enhanced, enhanced has to be through an employer but really you only need an enhanced DBS when working with kids it seems, not that I completely know the difference. ---------- Post added 16-10-2015 at 23:44 ---------- Okay apparently a basic DBS shows very little, there's basic, standard and enhanced, standard seems the way to go although not sure how I would go about getting that. ---------- Post added 16-10-2015 at 23:46 ---------- PM me Teeny if you have any more advice on the subject as I'm sure the original poster/the people above are being inundated with notification emails regarding our posts lol ---------- Post added 16-10-2015 at 23:51 ---------- Seems standard has to be through an employer too meaning an individual can only apply for a basic disclosure, which shows very little. Anyway like I said can you PM me please if you have anymore advice Cheers!
  13. Doesn't look like they are doing it anymore at least not anytime soon but I have found a place that does the same course, the syllabus seems to be standardized which is good. Thanks
