Thats the idea they are the ones who are very rude.

We are friends with their son too as are our children. We are not invited to the reception or evening do. Its difficult to explain on here but they are inviting certain friends who they believe are more high profile.

Friends son is getting married. We have been invited to the ceremony & afternoon tea in the church hall not the reception or disco in the evening. Feel very hurt as known the whole family well for 26 years. Know others going who have not known them for as long & as close as us. Disappointed as thought we were closer friends than we obviously are. Dont know whether to go or not.

Who can help my daughter get a job? She has a degree in textiles and art. She has worked as a temporary sales assistant at Marks and spencers and as a measuring technician for Biobank (medical research). She is interested in any job possibly, healthcare or administration or reception.

Thanks for replies. Somemore helpful than others. In answer to one who thought they might have seen the accident. My daughter's car is a turquoise suzuki alto. It is a while since the accdent but we had hoped that the police would have done more than they have done.

At 4.30pm on 23.12.09 my daughter was driving back from work at meadowhall she went straight on at West Bar Roundabout towards the police station on the left. A car cut in front of her so she had to slow down. A main line bus came from the right onto the roundabout and hit my daughters car. My daughter was very shocked and upset she moved the car and the bus driver drove off straight on same dirrection my daughter was going. We have reported the incident to the police who have took a statement but don't seem to be doing anything. The bus driver has not reportedthe acident. y daughter did not see the number of the bus. Her car is still in the garage, the side all smashed in. Her access is £350 which she cannot afford. We have got in touch with mainline but they are not interested. Did anyone see anything or someone on the bus in question? Thank You
