Good for her being a champagne socialist. There's no contradiction between drinking Dom Perignion and being a socialist. Dom Perignion was a Benedictine monk who along with being an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine, also devoted his life to tending to the sick and poor. So what better beverage for socialists to drink than champagne?

Well I think she's lovely. Normally doulas work with expectant women, but they must be branching out into working with the dying, which is a very positive development. Can you imagine being at the end of your life, and Priti Patel, Suella Braverman or one of the other Tory vampires, charged with looking after you?
