  1. We used Jeff Smith's joinery skills (07861 379796) again on our new kitchen project. He laid our reclaimed flooring and provided custom pine skirting and architraves and (as usual) did an amazing job despite the challenges thrown his way by our wonky old house. always a pleasure to have around is Jeff; quality, knowledgeable, competitively priced, tidy and considerate. thanks mate!
  2. A quick thank you to mike at METGAS for coming to sort a leak dripping in to our dining room. top quality as usual, thanks mike!
  3. hey mike, did you get this off the ground? me and my little lad (7months old ) might be interested if so, ta matt
  4. Hey everyone, So, our fabia had the common problem of leaking rear door seals so we've got ourselves a damp interior. I've had the seals sorted at bickerton skoda but need the interior treating/cleaning. As we've got mold and mildew (great eh?) i've been told various things like steam cleaning, shampoo and wet/dry vac, etc, but I'm looking for recommendations if you can help. Happy to take the car anywhere so not just mobile services, Many thanks Matt
  5. after buying our new house we had to move our boiler from the small back-bedroom back in to the kitchen. we used MET GAS Services who were brilliant. mike and alan were prompt, incredibly tidy and moved the boiler in under two days. from the quote to recieving the new gas certificate it was a pleasure. thanks guys!
  6. we just had some floating shelves put in our front room by Jeff (the Joiner) Smith, 07861 379796. 8 solid shelves in the alcoves, well finished and a damn good price. jeff's a legend; such a nice bloke. we just left him our keys and came, did the work, tidied up and left us happy. cheers jeff! picture here.
  7. their entire meat/veggie menus are now at: http://www.bilashtandoori.co.uk i think some of the other search results were only part of the menu. enjoy. matt
  8. ha! that's pretty true and good advice. i'd recommend What Digital Camera magazine too. the buyer guide is great to help you make an informed choice within your budget. grab a new issue and the guide covers tonnes of models. *cough* canon G12 *cough* hahaha!
  9. its no DSLR but i can't praise the Canon G11 or G12 enough. all the features/control of a DSLR but compact. such a flexible camera and has given me great results every time.
  10. good job two flags. you could try softening the bottom edge of the rose against that bottom leaf, or darkening the leaf, at the moment its a give-away. if i were you i would also repair the leaf above the brow. a bit of time with the clone-stamp tool and you'll have it. great work for a first stab though.
  11. thank you all for the feedback. i took my wife to Moran's and loved it (although a bit quiet - no one else there on a thursday night?). i'll keep a note of the names you've all mentioned. keep them coming if you can recommend somewhere. thanks!
  12. Recently moved to Sheffield from east london and would love to find some good food venues. my wife used to love bistrotheque and the rivington bar and grill so i'd love to find somewhere similar. could anyone recommend some stylish restaurants? thank you all.
