Hi I'm interested in this and I think my housemate would be too. What do we need to do to sign up? -

Is anyone interested in starting a film club
iwantpie replied to Diabolique's topic in Sheffield Film Group
I'm interested in this. Like a previous poster I have a Cineworld card I don't use enough (though I'm not as averse to going on my own) and it would be cool if somewhere down the line we could even set up our own showings of things rather than having to rely on what's on at Cineworld/Showroom. Maybe set up a Facebook Group for it? The format's probably a bit easier to discuss and see who much interest there is. -
Page for five-a-side players/teams to link up

Morning all I've been playing with a good bunch of lads every Wednesday at Goals on Norfolk Park Road for about 6 years now but we've started to struggle for numbers recently so are looking for a couple of extra players to play on a regular to semi-regular basis. It's not a league team, just a friendly match and the standard is pretty mixed so ability is no concern. We're a very friendly lot all in all so if you're interested drop me a PM. We play rotating keepers so position isn't a concern. Price is usually £6 but occasionally £5, depending on numbers. Additionally, I'm looking to play a second game a week so if anyone needs an extra player let me know. I'm distinctly average and probably play best in central midfield or off a striker. I'm available on Mondays and, at a push, Thursdays though I might not be able to play every Thursday. Happy to play friendly or in a league as circumstances dictate. -

Question about Sheffield Uni Football Pitches
iwantpie replied to iwantpie's topic in Sheffield Football
Where actually are the pitches, in Sheffield I mean. I looked ont he website but it's as useful as my little sister. -
Hi all, first post and all that I'm looking to organise a 7-a-side football match at the end of August. We normally play at Goals near Norton Park but the pitches there are too small for 7-a-side. I was looking at the University artificial pitches which are described as 6-a-side and 6000 sq metres. Has anyone played on them? Are they any good, will it stretch to 7-a-side and what are the other facilities like (changing rooms, refreshments etc) Cheers for your help
