  1. Thanks for the responses, much appreciated. ---------- Post added 21-09-2017 at 10:46 ---------- Worked brilliantly. Parked in the large car park (for free) at end of station road (loads of spaces available), there were also plenty of spaces on the road. Will definitely use again. For info, I arrived approx 10:30.
  2. I've never used Darnall station before but will be tomorrow. Can anyone advise what the car parking is like at /nearby please (i.e. is there anywhere to park and how much does it cost)? Many thanks
  3. Can anyone recommend any local companies that make and fit wooden gates? I'm thinking some about 6ft high and the width of a garage. We're wanting to install some down the side of our house so that the little one can play out without us worrying he'll escape onto the road. Thanks.
  4. Just thought I should update this. Finally got round to sorting this out and pleased to report that forum member StevenD93 did an excellent job (both disconnecting the gas and connectiong the electrics). Was very pleased and would definitley recommend.
  5. I've just moved house and they've left behind a gas cooker. I want to disconnect it as I have my own electric cooker. I've had a look behind the cooker and it looks like an easy job if you know what you're doing...just one rubber tube out of the back of the cooker connecting to a pipe in the floor. I was tempted to have a go myself but slightly scared with it being gas and blowing up the house! Does anyone know how much it would cost me to get someone in to do this?
  6. Hi, I am in the process of tidying up my back garden and have lifted approximately 25 concrete paving slabs and lots of large lumps of concrete and general pieces of rubble. Does anyone know of any firms in or around Sheffield who would take these off my hands? They're too heavy to put in the car and take to the tip so thought they could be of use to someone/building firms...the concrete slabs in particular could probably be reused if cleaned up.
