Ive only come across one this week ;( the one i was looking at has gone but there is one house on wright st for around 80k

All the images are from the roof of stanley tools, I walked upto the front door and asked permission to go in I like urban photography and this place is great inside just a few i took from the day. (link)

First image is great nice and crisp and can be cropped to make many nice images second image seems out of focus but still makes for and interesting image and using B&W has rescued it alittle though Third image is very interesting and can be changed slightly in an edit program to your tastes. Personaly i tend to stay away from flash as it tends to kill an image IMO but a good day setting i tend to use is Aputure priority (A setting) 400 ISO F5 Auto settings are a waste of time in my eyes as again IMO it kills images, but its all playing with settings and techniques to find your own style. Possible join a photo group on Facbook,Flickr etc or maybe a meeting with other sheffield photographers. On flickr ive found this group to be a fantastic tool for learning and freindly advice NEVER PROSSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

I ride a motorbike so traffic is not a massive problem for me really, traffic is terrible in lancaster because of one way systems 3.7miles = 45mins by car. I do remember that chesterfield rd and city road where quite busy at peak times

ahahahahahahh i think Avesta was still just about going before i left but ive noticed that outo kompo has been totaly demolished. The thing i miss the most is the coolong towers:cry:

hahahaha i like your thinking and will look into your addition of upperthorpe. I travel quite abit for my photography so a quike jaunt down the road for some images will be awesome:D

Lol the pubs arnt the be and end all that will make the decition for me just the thought of mooching down the road to the pub would be grand

We are halveing our budget so are looking for houses upto 75K Jackeith. I dont want to go above that as we want to get away from eeking through life and want to have a child. This house will be a stop gap sort a speak for upto 5 years or so then we will move again when we are ready to grow to a larger more expensive house,area etc...

Aye thats my biggest worry that most area's have changed for the worse Thats the main reason in trying to stay away from S5 as my mom mentioned to me its gone seriously down hill since we were last living there!

thankyou again il defo go look at more properties in anston if and when they pop up, im comeing down this weekend to have a look see and the chezzy beer festival just to get an idea of houses and see the area's ive mentioned.

Thankyou for your input Cyclone, im looking for a property with a garden and not to close to main roads as i have 2 cats, Id quite like a good local pub with real ales on tap but i think im asking for abit much with thats lol. I grew up in S5 southey green, so ive always lived fairly close to town Im not much for going into town and getting lashed up every weekend but will be going in and around the city photographing most things.

Hello, Im in need of a little help/advice. Im thinking of moving back to sheffield in the new year/spring time of next year all being well if i sell my house in lancaster NW, The main reason for this post is to gain alittle knowledge of the area's that im looking at properties and also some personal advice. Firstly with regards to getting or applying for employment before i move, Im at a loss if should start to get my name around possible employers now in advance or wait till ive sold in lancs to start to apply due to start dates/availability etc... Any advice will be greatly recieved Im currently looking at properties around sheffield via zoopla,blundells and rightmove to gain some knowledge of what you get for your money and local ameanaties etc but the only thing you cant get from the internet is local knowledge The area's im currently looking at are; Intake Shiregreen Hackenthorpe North Anston Gleedless Woodthorpe Hillsborough If i can ask for some local knowlege of any of these area's such as crime,nightlife,local interest,friendly neighbours etc..... I appologise for my directness of my request but sheffield has changed so much over a eleven year period and i feel quite out of touch:help: many thanks in advance for any advice and info:D Blue needles
